I think Scottie may still be asleep considering it's 5 AM out in California, so it looks like I'll be filling-in for at least part of practice.

That is the sound of an ice cold beer being cracked open. My wife looked at me, I looked back smiling, She rolls her eyes.

I wish! It was 118 here at work yesterday afternoon. And I just started my 12hour shift.

Dude, I hear you. I hate the summer in our neck of the woods, triple digits with the humidity is brutal. Try to stay cool out there today!

I hate when they do this crap, I spent many muddy mornings out wasting my money at the east coast nationals. They FLOOD the track overnight, the track is near impassable for the first session and barely gets better for the rest. Then they go bulldoze all the deep lines and fix the jump faces before the motos anyway. I know not many people like hard packed but damn, a little variation to the series would be nice. They just flood every track for practice, the 450B practice or 250B mop up the extreme slop they create, and they all end up relatively the same by the time motos come around. The EuroBros get hardpacked, sand, ruts, I'm not saying I want our series to be anything like theirs because the lack of track maintenance is dangerous but the AMA series is so cookie cutter its ridiculous.

End rant.

Yep. I said it last week and I'll say it again, press day yesterday was prime dirt in all the RacerX vids. Those guys were flowing and the track was awesome! Why the hell do you need to flood it, it's PA not the desert. I guess letting these guys dice it up without the fear of blowing out a knee in one of the train tracks they create is bad for racing. Smh
