I have a 15 TC125 I bought used off of a youth rider. He had about 50 hours on it when I got it and i've put about 4 more on it.

Surprisingly, the frame still looks really good.

just bought my 17 tc a month ago. it came with wp aer stickers to wrap around the forks. I actually cut them up and put them on the frame to protect it. im sure they will wear off soon but I thought id do that instead of wearing the frame. lol.

The only thing getting mine back to white is a fresh coat of powder. That bitch is brown all the way to the frame.

Ktm frame guards are longer and keep the frame from getting boot rash, they're cheap also.

Do you have a photo of how discolored? I haven't had this problem yet and currently have the hose routed in stock form on a 2017 TC250. I'm wondering how long it takes for this to occur.

Anyways, my frame has held up nicely granted it's still fairly new. I did purchase a P3 Carbon Skid Plate to help protect and have Nihilo adhesive frame guard stickers with Acerbis Frame guards over top. Silly

I can't imagine SOS would be great for the coated frame...Would end up just getting a fresh coat of powder like reded said.

Thanks for the replys. I've been considering picking up a new Tc 125. I am coming off a 2014 crf. My biggest complaint with that bike is the white plastics begin to get clapped out after about 10 hours, especially the area around the knees. Really annoying but I like the oem look.

Glad to read this today, have some welding I need done on mine and didn't want to do a full powder coat if I didn't have to... Shortcut, I know. How many coats did you do and did you finish with a clear coat?

I did not use the spray can. I brushed it on with a foam paint brush to touch up. No clear coat and I was happy with the result.

Acerbis makes matching white and black frame guards. Thats what I've been running and they have held up well and look good.

2018 Huskys come with the higher frame guards stock.

Re-route the vent hose or this will happen to your beautiful white paint.

I have a '15 and a '17 and the paint will chip and wear away easily on both (worse on the 17) exposing the bare steel for it to rust... Also have the discoloration issues pictured above. Pretty disappointing.
