Gonna have a run at the Canadian MX2 title next year?

But really, he cant race mx2 next year so he either comes to the US, or switches teams, or quits racing, or made an overly dramatic post on Facebook.

He's going to MXGP.... Don't expect too much. I don't see Jeffrey leaving KTM or the GP's.

HRC made him a very gigantic offer for MXGP from 2018 (he would be paid a lot more than Ken Roczen).
Maybe he accepted it.

Why would they pay him more than Roczen?

I think his english is pretty damn good for a 21 year old. Some people misspell, even Americans and British people do. This board is full of it.

I'm agreeing with you, and pointing out he speaks more than one language.

I hope he races in the US at some point in his career.

Switching teams to HSF logistics ?

I've read an article that MXmag had written and they saw an option that he could be going to HSF logistics... Just a vision of them, not a rumor.
There arguments in the article are:
Herlings doesn't want to be under the Di Carli KTM Red Bull Factory team tent,
HSF is almost completely dutch speaking,
Team owner Simon Frederiks isn't a poor guy.

Because the offer Herlings got from KTM for MXGP is bigger than what Roczen is making with Suzuki right now and HRC knows that in order to get Herlings they have to dig deep in their pocket.

He problably decided to sit out the next race which is in his eyes a gamble for the championship aka his career.

In an interview on Dutch tv he wasn't too worried about sitting out Switzerland. Maybe there, otherwise Assen.

Lol, HSF Logistics? You're joking right.... Do you really think they have the budget to pay him? And what's the logic behind leaving the Factory KTM team to go to a Satellite KTM team? because I don't see any logic.
They already said a looooong time ago that Herlings could just stay under the MX2 tent while competing in MXGP.

I'm pretty sure KTM would be paying, and giving him a factory bike, he'd just be pitting under the HSF awning

Remember when Herlings had a crash in the first turn and still manage to finish 1 minute resp. 2 minutes infront of the US boys?

Hoping he'll go to America full time but doubt it..

I also heard he is retiring MX so that he can provide his services to areas of flooding and/or hurricanes. Nobody knows the biz better!
