I'm not so sure the 1st moto was a beat down. They started together and pretty much stayed stuck together the whole moto with only a 1.2 sec victory wasn't it? But those two put the beat down on the rest. I'm simply going off the living timing as that's all I had to go by. Second moto, they started together and JH did win that one easy.

Pumped for Jeffrey.

Must be tough knowing you can destroy the field if healthy. I really hope he wins the championship this year, he deserves it !

Barring any injuries he should be on his way to his 3rd world title!
But what i'm more interested in is his total GP win number, currently allready at 48 at the age of 21.
He could end the season around 60 GP wins.. If there ever will be somebody who gets close or passes Everts his insane stats it'll be JH84. (I'm ignoring the whole sandbag deal, he can race mx 2 and he does so, good for him)

How do you sandbag in the pro class? Wardy, Johnny O', and Barnett were all in the tiddler class for many, many, years. They are considered icons of the sport of motocross now.

That happens when your competition either moves up voluntarily or gets forced up with the under-23 rule. But due to a rule change and glitch in the Youthstream MX2 system you get to be the greatest sandbagger in GP history..

Herlings looks worse the more he dominates MX2 while Fevre, Gasjer, Coldenhof, etc win after moving up to the premier MX1.

It's a spotlight on his sandbagging.

He would have won the 450 class I think. A shame we don't get to see him killing it in the premier class.

IMO he would have probably won the 450 class easier than mx2 against ferrandis
He even won against many of the top guys on a 250 in the pre season races but yeah he's probably too afraid to move up

The kid is a crazy talent, and to think about he could be running for his 5th world title this year had it not bin for injury is just inzane.. To se how he rode again yesterday in Qatar shows he is head and shoulders above the rest. I hope he has a great campain this year, wins his 3th title, and move up in MX1 in 17, with out injuries and with allot of confidents...

What competition??? Febvre? Gajser? Coldenhof? Ferrandis and Searle are the only ones that have given him just a little competition in some occasional GP's.

You sandbag the pro class when it is a restricted class. Your competition has been forced to move to the premier class and you stay behind. The 450 is the premier class, 250 is second tier.

Age doesn't matter when you consistently (3+ years!) dominate the second tier class. You use the word "pro" like it automatically means it is the top level, the 250 class is not the top level of the sport, hence sandbagging.

He races against the 450 guys on a 250 and still beats them. He just wants to ride a 250 after suffering a really nasty injury last year, he's allowed to do, so stop your whining. Look at it this way, if he had have moved up there's a very real possibility that he could've done exactly the same in MXGP, and Ferrandis would be completely in a league of his own in MX2. As it turned out, we got some decent action in both classes

Please name one rider that you think would be beating herlings in the 250 class had the class not been restricted or had they not moved up in MX1. just one rider with the same amount of speed and talent as Herlings on a 250.

Are you an idiot? The 450 class is higher level than the 250 class. I doubt you'll find a single racer that believes the 250 class is the same level as the 450 in terms of being the top step of the sport.

They call local races pro races, just because it says pro in front of it doesn't mean it is the highest level.

Well, you basically prove my point, he is the absolute best in the 250 class. He doesn't move up to the premier class, that is textbook sandbagging.

So Glover, Barnett, Ward, Omara and several others were sanding baging then?

Nice, have to get the idiot in there huh? Its called the pro class, he can't help it that he is faster than everyone else.

Its like saying RV has been sand bagging for the last 4 years because nobody was as fast as him. .

no surprise with herlings but i think he can't be happy with his decision seeing gajser, a guy that he beat pretty easy, go out and win like that. last year febvre and now gajser. that must bother him. at least it would to me.

btw, really liked sewers performance apart of a view mistakes. he looks great on that bike.

I'm not so familiar with those guys, but if they dominated multiple years (3+) in the small bike class without moving up to the premier class then yes I would say they were sandbagging.

You're still an idiot. It really isn't anything like calling RV a sandbagger. RV dominated and had no higher class to move up to, Herlings dominates and does, hence sandbagging.

Mx vice did a pod cast he mentioned that he kinda regrets not moving to the MXGP class now he sees that Gajser and Febvre are on the podium and basically saying he used to wax them Tongue

Who cares he will be world champ in MX2 and MXGP. Stamp it

How can you be a sand bagger if you have not succeeded the last two seasons winning the championship

Pray that he never suffers a career ending injury in MX2 and never makes it to MX1. I would like to see him race in MX1 healthy.
