THIS! When I think Honda, this is the first bike that comes to mind. They could turn on a dime, they had headshake like crazy, and the motor blew every other bike off the track.

That's a sexy bike right there! Other than Reedy's, IMO the best looking Honda's of the 4-stroke era

Wasn't Stanton three seconds a lap faster his first time out on that?

Why no water cooling on this bike? Didn't the '81 250 come with liquid cooling?
The first few supercrosses they were given a choice between water cooled and air. By the half way point of the supercross season they were all on watercooled 250s.

Thanks once again. The leap in technology from 1975 to 1977 was amazing.

As a life long Honda guy, on a KX now, I feel guilty looking at this at work. Moto porn for sure! Awesome pics, thanks again.

This is the epidome of Honda's excellence in MX bikes building !

My wonderful job gave me the chance to ride all production bikes and quite a few exotic bikes for a couple of decades...

That bike was, by far, the one that impressed me the most.

Ridiculously fast and ridiculously easy to ride as well !

Yes, Honda has made some neat bikes since, but the production rule killed the exuberance that one expects from true works machinery.

Don’t see many pics of the 95 with red number plates. I believe they switched to white after a SX round or two? Also, was the CF air box a standard decal all throughout the 95 season, or did they go to a proper wrap of some sort? The 96 pic looks like clean solid CF. Was the entire air box actually CF at some point?

What about this one? It was a Factory Honda before the Gary Jones bike.
