My roommate picked this up off eBay. I know it's not that outrageous of a find, more so just looking for reaffirmation.

Very cool! Ezra is a cool dude. He hooked me up back in 00 at the Phoenix supercross. After the main he happned to be walking by so I ask for an autograph. He said I'll do one better follow me. Took me into the factory Honda rig and showed me around for 10 minutes. Then busted out a new jersey from his gear bag and signed it for me. After that he thanked me for being a fan and said have a good night.

Ben will gain about 27.3 HP from that pipe alone. Tell him not to dump the clutch to hard on the starts....he very well could disturb the earth's rotation , and / or.....dig a second grand canyon. Literally jump the entire track , with a slight bump of the throttle. Smile

Yep, I bought an 03 KX250 and got the same pipe. It had to do with a free exhaust promotion that year.

I wonder if the 125 had the same deal going? I bought a new 03 125 and didn't get anything extra.

That's like the 2nd or 3rd pipe thats been floating around like that with "lusk" stamped on it. Maybe the same one. On the bottom hanger there should be some numbers and letter stamped on it. Usually that will indicate something. I have had a few factory pipes. Sometimes they will give a location or stamped mx/sx. Sometimes they are braised because of thinner metals.

The way those pipes are welded leaves the slag or bulging bead, whatever you want to call it, hanging inside in the exhaust flow.

Now I dont know if it is ground flush as the pipe is built or what.

When I was hooked up with Ferracci when he was going full bore with the moto in early 2000s he was getting pipes and silencers from 2C racing out of Italy

They were welded on the outside meaning the edges were rolled leaving a lip that when welded left the inside clean and made the pipe much stronger . Its the only pipe I've seen done that way probably because of the time it takes.

Straight up cost was over 400 bucks for a pipe I recall . I had both PC ,and 2C systems but once you bolted on the 2C the PC wax put in the truck only used for mud.
