Hey guys. Sorry to lower the mood, but I'm trying to figure out something unique for my father's ashes when he passes. I grew up from a young age riding and racing moto and my dad was by my side the whole time. We lived motocross for years. He is on his deathbed and I was trying come with a moto related urn or figuring out something creative to keep his ashes in, and I'm drawing blanks on coming up with ideas. I have been on this forum for years, and value mostly everyone's opinion on here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I actually was just talking about my ashes, spread me in Beyonce's underwear drawer.
Either way, it's the memories that it represents that matter most.
Are you guys near where he taught you to ride? I quite like the cylinder idea where he taught you to ride.

Mum is still alive and kicking.
We think of possibly throwing them out to sea, but then what?
Then we came across this, they roll or encapsulate the ashes in, or within glass.
With imagination you could come up with a moto theme if that's what you desire.

Again, my father is still in a box in a closet, it's such a hard decision.
Keep your head up, it will get easier, eventually.
Maybe when I'm gone, I'll just have my ashes put in a vintage Klotz bottle.
Two stroke fumes forever!
The cylinder idea is really cool.
Someone here will have a bad CR cylinder they might just donate.
We had a guy a long time ago want his ashes spread at a local track. So we did a big parade lap and the first guys spread his ashes as we rode. Kinda funny that the guys in the first practice after that split to both sides of the track to avoid that area. I dread the days when I have to go through what you are today. Cherish those memories.
This past weekend at the Rio Bravo AHRMA National and Old School Reunion, there were ashes spread in the first turn prior to the days events.

I know we're all different, but for me, it felt..what..I hate to say "better" as that is bs...
But, it "felt" something that did not suck as much when I was able to return my brothers, and fathers ashes back to the earth. My brothers went into the ocean.
For me, it felt better than keeping them. Keeping them reminded me it truly was "over". Giving them back meant it was not....
Silly, I know, but do what makes you feel best. I have to say it made me smile when I thought of ashes going into to a motocross track.
I know I am not ready to go through this...
Your dad and your family will be in my prayers.
