Back in the 90's we had a racetrack called Sunrise Valley Raceway, John and his mechanic, Brian Berry (funniest guy in the world) broke down in their box-van, they had no where to go, so they kicked it with us at Sunrise until they could get it fixed, maybe a couple days. At our track we had a oval that we ran stock car races on, so my brother, Marc and I put on a celebrity stock car race, MC, Bradshaw, Larry Ward and about 12 other guys, including John raced it. I have footage of it somewhere in my trunk of memories. It was cold and rainy, other then the racers and all the stock car guys who brought their stock cars for the racers to drive, that's about all the people who were there. It was such a blast. That's when Bradshaw leaked to me on camera he was coming back to race. But what I remember the most was John & Brian, were the nicest guys, so friendly and funny. Happy Birthday John, kick some ass at Uni-Fuckin-Dilla !!
