Let's chat about outdoors for a hot minute Silly

Hangtown should be primo this year with all the weather they've had. Yes, I'm old enough to remember watching the 91' swamp fest on tape and I hope it doesn't end up like that Tongue

Who here thinks Tomac can return to the enigma that he was in 2015? Will The Dunge get his groove back? Can Marvin step up to his former MX2 championship glory? Will Blake Baggett release the El Chupacabra once again?

Bring on May 21st!

I say Blake will be on it. He's been super fast this year just bad starts and crashes have hurt him

If Tomac keeps winning supercross races like he has so far I think he will be very confident going into the outdoors and I really think he'll win that title if he can stay healthy. To answer your question yes I think Tomac can get back to his 2015 form. Supercross is just practice till the real racing starts for the summer. Tongue

Curious if Malcolm runs outdoors. I hope so. Saw him out there several years ago ('14) on a 450 and he was running good.

I really hope Bagget can get back to himself and put in some gnarly outdoor rides like he did on that pc 250.

I always look forward to the great "outdoors". I just hope we have a bunch of guys on pace.

IMO If Tomac continues being among the fastest in SX, come outdoors he's confidence will only multiple, bad news for the competition. Go ET3!! It's so much fun watching Eli when he's dialed and comfortable on the bike.

Baggett has the speed and seems to have gelled with the ole KTM. Fingers crossed Eli can keep it on two wheels for this year because we all remember him destroying the field by 1:30 in the 2nd Moto at Hangtown 15 Cool

Remember when Baggett said he was eating less than 1000 calories per day or something absurd like that? I was like wtf? He seems like a head case

I could see tomac having an undefeated season, it's very possible! His confidence is climbing fast.
Please send me the contact to your dealer. I want whatever you are smoking.

Tomac hasn't even won a title yet on the 450. But you think he has a chance to go undefeated in MX???

No.

No different then anything else.. Dungey will be the consistent one and will win the title. If Kenny is back, could be a different story

I was there in 91 as well. I remember jeff matiasevich having Roy Turner walk over to the edge of to pits where it over looks the track and say to Turner "this isn't motocross... that's black water!" .. meaning the old famous black water race.

I also saw Guy Cooper go off that step down jump completely sideways full throttle in that mud/rain. I though he was screwed but he never shut off. He just straightened it out in the air.which was amazing to watch.

I also watch Doug Henry’s pass for the lead on that down hill right hander. It was a sea of water with a little bit of mud sticking up out of the water. He just kept it pinned and passed for the lead. I remember thinking “there are ruts under that water.. and he has no idea where they are”… Very ball worthy.

I was there in '91, it wasn't that bad except for the river crossing.

ET3 will rule the field this summer i'd say. But like others have said, i would love to see Bagget step his game up outdoors like we've seen him do in the 250 class!!

Barring injury I think Tomac will be the guy to beat outdoors.

Is Ferrandis racing outdoors also? I think he'll be really fast in the 250 class.

You know Dungey could always retire after SX. And let's not forget Seely he stepped it up last year and he's lookin better this year.
