Hats off ML512. Your attention to detail is astonishing when you write these Shoot-outs! I look forward to reading these reviews every time a new product comes out! I get customers who come in all the time and purchase items or bikes simply because they read what you had to write here on VITAL. It seems as of the last year or so the forum has gained a ton of stupid.. If that is correct way of putting it... Lots of the OG posters have stopped posting because of the dumb threads that are created! Kudos for keeping content well thought out!!

"The 2018 250F lineup from left to right: FC250, CRF250, RM-Z250, 250SXF, KX250F, YZ250F. Most of the bikes are basically the same for 2018, save for the KX250F with an updated engine and the all-new CRF250. The CRF250 has a lot of hype and has had good reviews thus far from other websites. We think it is cute that people rush to get there shootout results out first. Everyone, including us only got the CRF250 less than two-weeks ago. First off, how are you going to shake down an all-new bike in less than two-weeks. Then compare it against its competition? We might be last getting our shootout done, but we want to make sure we are thorough to give our readers the right information they need to make the right decision for them. "

I wonder if the green envy makes them blind, if there aren't any copy-editors, or if no one at MXA enjoys The Oatmeal...http://theoatmeal.com/comics/misspelling

Another good report ML512! Only hope that more analytics can be utilized in the future; LitPro data, clicker setting specifications per rider, onboard footage, etcetera.

We tried something new with using LITPros on the bikes and riders to bring some consistency to the data but we ran into some issues...going to work with Chris Hay more on it and decide how we're going to get the riders to do this part correctly. The hard part is getting data that isn't skewed...the info we get now is useful to answer our own questions but isn't the best to display.

That's a big goal for 2018...

I'm most certainly not a grammar major, but I think this is more suitable.

"Here's the 2018 250F lineup from left to right: FC 250, CRF250R, RM-Z250, 250 SX-F, KX250F, YZ250F. The majority of bikes in this test are the same for 2018, save for the Kawasaki KX250F, which has updated engine components. Then there's the one all-new bike taking on the battle, Honda's long-awaited CRF250R, which features a completely new engine design and architecture. This new Honda has a ton of hype around it, which has led to some good feedback and reviews thus far from other media outlets. We think it's cute that people rush to get their shootout results out first but everyone, including us, received our 2018 model less that two weeks ago. First off, how are you going to shake down and all-new machine in less than two weeks...then compare it against the competition? We might be the last to get our Shootout done, but we want to make sure we're thorough enough to give our readers the correct information that they'll need to make the right purchasing decision."

Ohh and my response: Good luck riding REM for months on end; you might get it in print before we see the first sneak peeks of the '19s and the majority of your disappearing readership has already made their purchasing decisions. But that's just my opinion...
