H&H Privateer SX Questions

I heard from a buddy that there is a $10,000 purse supercross in Vegas in 2 weekends. I'm going to be in Vegas that weekend and want to throw my bike in and get lapped by Tedesco and Blose (amongst other super stars i'm sure). Is this event open to anyone holding an AMA proc card, is it invite only? How does it work? Who do I contact with questions? Sorry if this has already been posted before.

how does that team qualify as privateer? they have just as much money or more than the other teams. is this one of those loopholes kinda like chisholm was privateer the same year he was on stewarts team?

factory backed. H&H and many of the other teams are not factory backed.......but I would like to see the exact stipulations before driving out with my rider.

Factory Backed teams; San manuel Yamaha,rockstar makita suzuki,honda redbull racing,motoconcepts yamaha,Monster kawasaki,Montster energy pro circuit kawasaki,geico Powersports honda. Redbull KTM... All these teams get support from the factories wether it be factory suspension or motors or misc. parts.
NON Factory backed teams; H&H,Honda of Troy,Suzuki City,Red Seven Ride Co.,as well as any other privateers... The race should be good for privateers there will be some good guys there and the track is really really good.... Has a good flow to it and super fun.

They said Valli Yamaha was eligible which I don't think should be. No way do they not get bikes from Yamaha for the team..

Officially, we are defining a Privateer as a rider that does not collect a SALARY. Teams are still allowed to race as long as the rider racing does not have a predetermined salary. For example, on H&H, Blose will be racing but Tedesco will not. (But he will be there supporting the event and signing autographs.)

Pros can also get some extra track time and race Sunday in the "expert class."

Thanks for the info guys. I got my suspension in the mail getting the SX treatment. Can't wait!
