I missed it for the first time in many years, but I'm sure you were/are there. I'm guessing there was a knockdown drag out battle between Dubach and Nicoll. I think Nicoll felt like he owned Doug a little something something from last year.....but if I know Doug, and I do, he wasn't taking nothing from Kurt!

That picture is badass! Nice shot, guyb. It kind of reminds of the one with Durham waving at rattray

Yeah my bro just told me Doug wasn't there. Looks like Nicoll is the King of us old guys.

Wow.. Killer pic, Steve!!

Hope that one churns out some revenue. (I actually have no clue how the photo biz works in that sense.. say KTM wanted to use it in an ad; do you sell the rights to use your photo? Can someone buy the rights to the ownership if they wanted to?? sorry for being nosey; just curious how that aspect of the industry works)

For a "World Championship" there sure isn't much coverage.

I agree with the others that that is such a cool pic. Especially when you zoom in, the details are so crisp.

Got that F stopped way out!

Lets talk about Daryl Hurley going 1 1 in the 40 + , dude still hauls ass and can still ride the piss out of a 125. If you don't remember him he was back in the motor world days with SHORT and he wasn't on the same equipment as Short. Nicest guys you will ever meet and can twist a throttle.

Yeah, Doug was very sick with the flu and couldn't make it out! He really was hoping he could at least make it out today but sadly wasn't able to. He was so sick we had to bring Josh's bike out saturday morning for him. Best wishes to Keefer after his fall in practice.

Coppins is faaaaast. Jumped 2/3 of the way down the first hill past me in practice and that's all I saw of him.

Where did Swan finish in +30 Pro? He got 4th in moto one running the factory flannel.

I got 3rd last year in 30intermediate with a broken foot from thursdays practice...i missed it this year cause of a few finacial obligations i committed to....i was bummed cause its such a good weekend .....plus at 38yrs old im gonna walk my ass to my A-license come dec at the arizonia open...even if i can only manage 2-5 points per race and get my 60 points in 18months...get my pro license just before im 40.....seems very doable what the hell right?...but more guys should make the trip the race World Vet its a great 2days of racing and some of the most pleasant fellow racers from all over the USA and from areas around the world.......as far a coverage goes...many of the guys who write for the magazines and websites race this event or they just so happen are at other practice tracks doing their 2017 450 shootouts.....so u will see some coverage by mid week im sure....but the coverage by all events in cali is kinda weak...they shoot some short video clips and the write ups are thin.....i think coverage from all aspects of products...bike test...first impressions have become weak...less and less thought is put into the writing aspect of it (which i like reading more)..then watching these shitty video clips....on every site.......i like david pingree and enjoy his limited writing but if i gotta watch another racerX video with him im gonna vomit......all the video testing blah..blah blah effortless energy put into the piss poor coverage....id just rather read it.....spend a extra day or so writing....elaborate and give us some well put together information......

1200 entries, no live timing or scoring , no stories, tweets almost nothing.

I've raced it before, it's a cool weekend. just isn't covered much and lets face it, calling one race at one track with no qualifiers prior a "World Championship" is kind of funny.

unless I win, then I'm happy to be the current World Champ.

So pumped for Hurlz, bought a heap of suzukis off him over the years. Really nice guy and so humble, he's still got it. Anyone know if he is still running the KSS ohlins setup?

Live timing and scoring was available through "MyLaps" link as well as results on another site. As I was keep track of a few riders I know.

Coppins: "I'm gonna squeeze every bit of horsepower outta this yami. I mean business! I'm gonna be world champion!"

Sleeter: "Just chillin on another Sunday ride in So Cal, what up bro?.....nice form!" or "Looks like you listened to Jody and went up a tooth in the rear."
