Yes. WTF indeed!

Makes the thread about the kid running out onto the start straight before a national seem rather lame.

Saw that a few days ago, it's crazy and the riders just ride around him as if he supposed to be there.

And then he jogs off the track after they go by, like he was in a hurry to get out of the way.

Happened to me at a local race in NY this year.
I was off the track and behind a small fence line. Then, hell, half the field (all 65s) went around me. (The track changed the 1st turn midday and the young riders got confused.)

But yeah, that guy was on the track a lil bit too much.

you know the messed up part... it that happened in the states, and he got hit and hurt, odds are very good lawyers and the public would go nuts about how this was everyones fault but the moron that walked out there knowing the bikes where heading that way.

at some point, we have to stop the bs of "getting paid for stupidity" and let natural selection come back. As in the stupidest of the herd are the first to go!

This is killing me I can't remember the product....

But remember those commercials where the chick is on the tennis court ready to serve, she tosses the ball up, it goes up and drops to the ground, THEN she swings?

Or the guy is on the starting blocks at a track meet, the gun fires, every takes off, then a couple seconds later he takes off?

What product was that???

Anyway the photog steps out to take a picture of the start, the gate drops, all the bikes go by, THEN he runs off the track...

(This would have been so much funnier if I could have posted the you tube vid of the commercial....)

Yeah, because I know our guys would just see me as an opportunity for a little extra traction. Smile

Actually, one of my worst fears is interfering with a race.

Nothing quite like being real close to the track with the short lens on and all of a sudden the frame is filled and wondering if you're gonna get slammed.
