Maybe I'm late to the party but did anyone else notice Grant wearing Fly Racing stuff in the recent video posted on the homepage?

Looks like he recently swapped. That's a little weird, because he has only been wearing shift since beginning of this year. Normally gear deals are a little more long term I thought.

maybe after his ankle surgeries he didnt like the feel of the fox instinct boot and chose to switch to astars? then had to find new gear company.

That's a shame. Shift has some of the best looking gear out there...whereas Fly has some of the (in my opinion) ugliest. But...in the end, it's all about the Benjamins.

That's the exact reason I switched from Astars TO Instincts

WEIRD I LOVE MY ASTARS HAVE A BDDY WITH INSTINCTS AND I TRIED JUST WALKING AROUND IN THEM AND I HATED THEM THE FELT LIKE I WAS WALKING AROUND BAREFOOT AS TO THE WAY MY ASTARS FEEL A LITTLE MORE STIFF AND SECURE.

There was a post on IG a while back that JG posted with his new Fly gear at the test track and after a few comments JG replied "yup CEO with the great calls (peace emoji)" I assume something went wrong at shift/fox. Regardless, I am a huge fan of Fly so its always good to see more top riders rep'n

Fly must sponsor the most riders. They sponsor many privateers which is admirable.

I have a bunch of hardware still in there, and the hinges on the Tech 10 bootie dug into it. Tried Instincts and was hooked

I like about 50% of the Fly designs right now. I own a couple F2 MIPS Carbons, but even at dealer cost, I always seem to find other brand designs I like better than the Fly gear. Seems like they always try too hard to design the colorways around the Fly logo. The gear is great stuff though. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the BOA system.

He was with one for a while right? After that he 'retired' and when he came back he was with shift. Fly is really working their way up, i was a fan of the blue/red/white colourways they had for 2016, but im not a fan of the 2017 colourways..

He is with shoei and vz for a long time tho

Oh btw, how much do gear brands pay for the 450 riders? (As the lites riders gears are mostly team bonded) how much would Grant get? And guys like Weimer (Seven), Bogle/Wilson/Tickle (answer), Reed (shift), Dungey/Roczen (fox), Musquin (thor), Barcia/Tomac (alpinestars). And for goggle/helmet/boots deals etc?

Same here. My ankles are absolutely demolished, and the instincts are by far the most supportive boots I've ran.

Comfortable, supportive, well built....couldn't be happier I made the switch.

And although I may not be the biggest fan of the colorways fly pumps out, there is no denying they are pumping money into the sport and are fully invested into moto....gotta respect them for that alone. And honestly I think JG' set up looks killer, big fan of the flow/toxic green colorway

They only need you to like 50% of what they make, the other 50% they need the Hillary supporters to like
