Good morning guys, just wanted to share a quick story that took place last night.

Roughly 3 years ago I had quit riding due to a lack of insurance. What was suppose to be a couple weeks of snowballed into a year, and 3 years later here we are. My fiancee has known Ive been itching to get back on a bike for quite awhile now. The plan was she was going to get me 2014 KTM 250 2 smoke for my birthday back in march, but low and behold a month before I turned 22 we found out that we had been fortunate to be expecting a little addition to our family. Needless to say the money saved for the bike went out the window in a hurry getting ready for our daughter to be born, which I think is how it should be. Everything else is second now that we have alittle one to take care of come the end of december.

Fast forward to two weeks ago I get a phone call from my soon to be father in law, asking if I wanted to do a riding trip for the " Daddy shower". I ofcourse agree profusely and begin to scramble to put together my old race kx250 in time for the ride weekend. Within 10 minuts of going over the bike I knew I couldnt afford to do what needed to be done to get the bike ready, and Im not talking about cosmetics, purely for safety reasons. The last time I had rode I zip-tyed my throttel line so it wouldnt get stuck wide open, not to mention I also had 2 holes in the pipe that were beyond the point of a spot weld.

Anyway word gets back to my father in law and he lets me know I can ride his 450 for the ride day. Sweet. Problem solved, I wish I could have fixed my bike so that I were able to ride for more then a weekend, but Im happy with anything after how long Ive been off the bike.

Q to me last night showing up to my inlaws after getting off at 9 PM after a 10 hour shift with 2 hours of commuting each way ( I work over 100 miles from home) Im dead on my feet and have to be back up in 3 1/2 hours to get back to open up shop, I make my way to the garage to grab my father in law some shit from the fridge.......

Then fucking boom

I stood in disbelief for a good 45 seconds without even breathing. I was snapped back to reality by the sound of my fiancees camera going off. Directly infront of my eyes was something out of a dream. He somehow came across a next to pristine 2003 RM 250. The thing only has 3 rides on it and has sat idly by every since.

I could go for an hour over how excited I am, and how thankful I am to be marrying into a family as good as I am, but Ill bring this post to a close....I will post photos of the ride day with all the guys when I get back next weekend. Until then I will just sit in the garage and stair, and maybe start it up once or twice just to hear the sound and smell the premix Smile

Best regards

Thank you guys so much for all the comments and well wishes. I am extremley blessed to be apart of my fiance's family, they really are the best people in the world and have taken me in as one of their own.

Its been a long 10 hour shift waiting to get to their house to fire up the bike for the first time. It really is a surreal feeling knowing that Ive got that bike waiting for me in the garage.

Two weeks ago I was sitting in my garage looking at my busted KX, wishing there was some way for me to get the bike to the level of being safe....and now Ive got a clean slate and a fresh throttle. I ve got that feeling in my gut that think we all got as kids when we got our first bikes, where your so f'ing happy your thoughts just consume your day and you cant wait to get home and and just sit on the bike in the garage for hours. It really is amazing.....

Once again thanks for all the positive words guys, cant wait to update y'all through the week and into next weekend.

Best regards,

Ryan Moscrop
