Wow hate much? Living on the sauce of others? Did he not win the east coast championship last year? Seems to me like he did that with HIS talent and work and not someone elses talent.
Full privateer in a semi. Just seems weird calling someone a privateer when they pull in a semi. Not digging on him I like Mookie!
I see what you mean, but I look at it like if I had the money I could buy the same truck but still wouldn't make me a factory rider. No where near the testing, parts. R & D, staff, resources etc.

This is the second time i've seen someone try to claim that Malcom is not a privateer. Are you kidding me? Just because he has a truck and a bike with some parts doesn't mean he's not a privateer! There is a HUGE difference between what Malcom's program has with regards to available resources as compared to satelite and factory teams with suspension guys, motor guys, testing facilities, chassis engineers, team manager and trainers etc etc) . Come on, its not just about the bike, its the program that defines the status!
I'm surprised that they got that bike so dialed in so little time. The RMZ is a great platform to start with and the family would obviously have some good experience and knowledge, but all the other teams have been going at this for months, with years of data to draw from. He's qualified where I would expect him too if he had been on that ride since October with a full team of technicians and coaches to help out. He's on suspension settings straight from KYB with no testing so it's a dam good turn out for a bike just put together and that he would also be still getting used to.
It can only get better from here so I'm excited to see where he gets.
I have him getting 12th tonight based on his last minute prep. Maybe winning a semi if he goes to one Overall once he gets back in the mix no reason he should not be 5--10. All I can say is thank god him and hopefully James is coming back becaus with other guys leaving the sport sucks ass without then

From RX:
Malcolm Stewart is racing! The 250SX Eastern Regional Champion is here on a Suzuki RM-450. He's only ridden with his race motor and suspension three times. Malcolm tells us he was motoing down on a stock bike at home prior to this, trying to do the usual 3-4 days a week schedule, but he didn't have as many parts as his disposal and had to be a little more conservative with the riding time. Plus, he says riding with his race motor and the stocker he was on is way, way different. So he's kind of winging it here. His pit setup, which is last year's Ride365.com/Crossland Racing rig with a new wrap, looks good, and in fact makes it look like this whole program has been in the works for a long time. "It wasn't!" joked Malcolm's dad, James Sr. Supposedly the rig only got wrapped on Thursday night before coming to the stadium on Friday.
Solid in my books
Good luck tonight Malcom

not hating on him either, just not ready to give him a trophy before the main event is raced.
