All these guys have top-notch support in my opinion, assuming Hill gets with Valle. I'm assuming Tickle is with RCH?

What a field eh?

Ooops. Forgot about Fred. Thanks. He looked pretty smooth in that Motosport vid.

Also, I might add that every rider I listed in that top 21 is healthy as far as I know. Stewart of course could be suspended, opening up a spot.

maybe its time to open up the 250 class as an optional premier class.and use arenacross to break in the pro newbees.
it used to be ,the class cc that sold the most units ,was the desirable pro class to race.
are 450's really outselling 250's? I don't know..

This is what happens when you make people move up a class after 'x' amount of points, just saying.

Holy shit I literally cannot wait for A1. I reckon we're going to see some big names missing out on some main events through out the series. Get a bad start in your semi and you're guaranteed to have some fast privateers ahead of you that are going to make your life difficult.

Anyone know of any RMZ250s that will make a main this season? its gonna be raining yellow in the 450s and I don't think there will be one yellow 250 on the start gate which is just weird.

That list is just insane. I know we'll lose a couple to pre-season wrecks and all.....but sheesh that is one stacked field.

Right on. The 450fs really have no performance advantage in SX and are barely hanging onto one at the Nationals. The premeir SX class should just be a open class two or four stroke whatever size you want to run. Leaded fuel allowed (you think the fuels the four strokes are running inside the domes are any safer than the leaded ones?) Forget homolgation and production rules.

The big sponsership money is in SX; let the manufacturers and teams cut loose. Let the fans see exotic stuff and push the bike development forward. Put in a 125c two stroke requirement for the entry level regional events.

That will open it up for privateers.

When was the last time an RMZ250 was even on the line for SX? 2013 Rockstar Energy?

I'm of the school that the racing is just as good between 12th&13th as 1st&2nd, I just hope we get a glimpse of it on the tube. Since it will be some factory equipped riders maybe we will.

I would say every rider above him is getting some works parts on their bike. Every rider above him will benefit from extensive testing of factory parts or knowledge. To the best of my knowledge Mike Alessi gets no support from Suzuki.

Now, if you consider support as in, fancy tractor trailer rig to haul his bike, airplane tickets to get to the races and a mechanic, then yes his support is jut as good.

Real thought provoking response, thanks for that.

Half the fans at SX have no idea who is racing or what brand machines their on. There there for a party and they'll likely be there the next event weekend for Monster Jam. The core fans there are plugged in but open the sport up more and see if you can't develop more true fans.

I got into MX in the late seventies when about any manufacturer would show up and give it a go. Pretty neat to see if your a gear head. To watch the major evolution in suspension design going on was really cool, part of the reason I became an ME.

Seems the sports all corporate these days; rules tweaked to meet the demands of the few players. SX is the arena to remove the limits and get a variety of development going again. Definite a venue to see electrics compete against the IC engines.

Looks like the small firm known as Beta took the Endurocross title from KTM the leader in off road motorcycles AND they did it with a two stroke! Wow, amazing what could happen should some people pull their heads out of their ass and push for a fair rules structure instead of cowering behind the status quo.
