I thought the last ice age was the golden age of climate change? The birds tried telling the dinosaurs to stop farting so much but they just wouldn't listen. Dry

Yeah. It's also the 4th major climate change in earths history.

I digress though, let's keep looking at a 2000 year window of time and worrying the sky is falling.

We got some snow on Wednesday and there is supposed to rain even more snow tomorrow. I'ts long weekend here because May 1st is national holiday and all tracks are closed due to snow in my area which is really annoying. This is the coldest spring here in Finland that I can remember. Usually we can ride with summer tires from beginning of April but this year I have ridden only once.

Don't be a fucking idiot, picking and choosing which bits of evidence you choose to observe.

Right because acknowledging this has happened 4 times already is somehow only observing a portion of the evidence.

Case in point: the earth is getting warmer over the last 2000 years. Such a small anecdotal blip on the time scale yet I'm the one ignoring things. Okay.

I'm gonna go fire up the 2 stroke and let smoke roll, maybe order a pizza, take a nap, it doesn't really matter.

I agree with the idiot part ! Pick n choose all the stupid krap you want to believe. Facts are the thermometer wasn't invented till 1686 so there goes your 2000 year theory .

The difference this time is instead of volcanic activity or meteor strikes....mans use of fossil fuels has caused this event.

The significance of 2000 years is its the length of our written history and weather observations or man kinds entire knowledge, which is a blip in time, try to follow along.

You shouldn't call people idiots when your mouth is full of a foot sandwich. The so called facts and junk science being used by NOAA and the IPCC is based on hundreds of thousands of years of ice core samples to build a case that CO2 is out of control.

If you look at temps from the time your thermometer was invented you see there has been warming . In fact there has been about a 500 year warming and the written history shows society has benefited greatly from it. Anyway the problem is who caused the hundreds of years of warming before man started burning fossil fuels. ?

There is a reason for all the global warming histeria. But the reason doesn't have anything to do with global warming, or climate change. Or climate disruption.

CA has gone in the capper in so many ways. But we still have the best year round global warming weather anywhere.
My relatives back East gave my Dad a bad time about moving to CA in the late 60s. He would make a Christmas card every year with us swimming and enjoying cold drinks by the pool. Merry Christmas from California.

Right, it's all those sinister greeny tree-huggers running the cabal against the poor, under-capitalized, powerless fossil fuel industry...

71 Degrees and snowboarding on 21 feet of snow this AM. Not a cloud for as far as you can see. California is hard to beat.

We need to defend our Earth. Global warming is a huge problem for everyone. People do not think about saving our home. I decided to change the heat system in my house. I read about solar panels and their useful features. I contacted with heating denver co https://www.summitheatingco.com/ and installed two solar panels.

The planet will always be just fine. It has not always been, nor will it always be, habitable for humans. The planet really does not give a chit whether you are comfortable or even alive.

In. I know this is a real hot topic right now but I have a feeling GuyB is gonna freeze a few of your accounts after this thread.
