sup bros. went for a good trail ride this last weekend and got some sweet pictures and video.
the ride is up Ben Lomond Peak in Ogden, UT. bitchin' thing about this ride is it is only 5 miles from my house.
the entire trail is a really fun ride, but it's the final ascent to the peak that is the real fun.
the video definitely doesn't do it justice, i was puckered tighter than a snare drum on some of the switchbacks.
about 1300 vertical feet in less than 3/4 miles.
anyway, here's some pics and a video (put it in HD). maybe this kind of shit will help the offseason go by.
(post some pics/vids of trails, pucker sections, climbs, etc in here)
that's the peak on the right
view of Ogden Valley (can probably zoom way in and see my shitty neighbor kids winning the shittiest kids in the neighborhood award)
the parking lot is at the middle right
the view from the top, peak elevation is 9711'
the overall ride elevation climb was 3600' from the parking lot
also, that's the Great Salt Lake on the horizon to the left (south)
and the video... ps don't let the video fool you, it's a steep bastard off the side of the trail
enjoy Bros

I may have to work you a bit as I would love to come and ride those trails some time.......and ya I would milk the switch backs to LOL
I just put a few clips together last night from 2 weeks ago. The place is Wellsville, Ohio. Its on the Ohio river which you can see in the end. If anyone is bored in the off season search wellsville on youtube. Lots of crazy off road footage from all kinds of vehicles. Its pretty crazy place all together. But here is some footage.
Hazzard, Ohio looks Primo!
I'm guessing about 80% of all wheels and tires are sold in Utah. I'm assuming those gray jaggedy looking objects would be what you guys call rocks?

It is nice to see I am not the only one who has a challenge on those downhill right hand switchbacks, admittedly those up there are particularly NASTY!!!
Peely, I have some guys coming in from Cali the end of the month, doing American Fork canyon on the 27th and Beaver Mtn on the 28th, pm me if you're interested. There are about 10-12 of us, mostly a little older than you.
i'll put a reminder in my phone and hit you up a little closer to that date.
here's some more pics. i have a couple badass vids too, higher speeds and definitely some sketchy moments.
i had one point where i almost went off the side, lost traction in the front wheel at high-speed and almost lost it.
good times though, the weather and lighting were unreal.
Awesome shots boys! I am a offroad nut, so this is eye candy for me. I need to get out to ride Utah one of these days.....
Anyway, here's my contribution. Filmed last Friday in the northern US Cascades.
