I'll try to find some of the jumps guys have been doing at jimmy weinerts. Triple with a gap to a double turns into a quad. Table top with a long gap to a 2ft high single turns into one jump. Guys are crazy out there
Since the day I saw that clip when I was quite young I've always wondered what was going through his mind the moments leading up to launching 5th pinned off of that cliff of a hill
I've had moments where I've "brain faded" and come close to eating shit but never anything like that, he must have been on a whole new level of maximized effort. Long live Doug.
Welp, that is when I load up and call it a career. No way I am risking life and limb and certainly don't want to be traction for the guy landing that. See you on the trails but want absolutely no part of that.
That's got to be the safest 200 foot jump i've ever seen. Very nice. Track look awesome.
He said his cousin one hopped it at the top and luckily walked away, his bike was nearly totalled. If you come up short you are breaking ankles, it shoots you higher then the video does justice. Same with the size of the hills. Track could be epic with right equipment, it was hard pack, tons of elevation though. Danny and his dad were cool cats for sure.

Maybe it was that angle, he didn't look that high off the ground from the video
I know, i know, You have seen them too many times but good times none the less. the first one is cool because i am jumping into the pic and out of the pic. I hit the second one as fast as my 15 crf can go, taped down a hill run but it's a dog. I'm old and just glad i have a few good pics of these so my grandkids realize not everyone was a big puss in this day and age. Jk lol.
Been there and watched Danny jump it in person, to say it is small is a understatement. Even the jump leading into the monster step up...

Cool jump for sure and crashing at that speed would be horrendous, but no way is he any more than 15ft off the ground.
That Rookie White jump is probably the craziest video of a jump I have ever seen in my life. I would put money that there are full blown factory riders that wouldn't have tried that.

that triple at FTT is so much fun probably the best jump on the property, but that triple step up to immediate right hander before it aint no joke either and is probably more difficult. wheres the first jump pic taken?
