Yeah, good shit for an amateur. Keep doing that until you get how to get sharp shit. Then you need to get some books and edecate yourself if you really want to go to the next level and create art.

I just bought "Understanding Exposure, 3rd Edition: How to Shoot Great Photographs with Any Camera" which probably is a good start...

Keep it up!

I wish we were able to use an EXIF data viewer for pictures posted on here.

No problem man! I'm pretty sure you will be top notch if you keep working hard. My personal experience is the harder you work, the better you become! Wink

Nice way to start a Friday. Really like the angles shots were taken from. Not the ordinary 'run of the mill'

I increase the contrast a little bit and increase the shadows little bit, too. I don't do anything extreme, when the colors look a little bit dull I do that. Once I get better I hopefully won't need to.

Take the camera off of auto and try AV or TV. Don't be scared to get bad pictures, that's how you learn.

Weird. It shows on Flickr that you use 'auto' in your exposure mode. On the few pictures I've posted on Flickr it shows Aperture Priority or whatever I'm doing.

I was mixing it up between TV mode and action mode, I was adjusting the shutter speed throughout the day. I know TV mode is important for getting better but all my Hangtown pictures are in action mode and they aren't bad so I just did that, for that day atleast.

Oh ok. I must not have looked at any of the ones taken with TV mode.
