Funny how RD5 fans are celebrating and seem to be already giving the Title to Dungey. This is the perfect example of why they hold the races.

Dungey still has to get 4th or better, IF Tomac wins (a seemingly tall mental order after such a meltdown). Marvs move saved Dungey from having to finish 3rd or better, as best I (er actually my bro can figure). Sounds easy and expected - but you still have to perform...I don't care who you are or what class it is, it's way more than just going through the motions.

Hopefully Carlos will go up on the spring rate in Dungeys forks to make up for the added weight of that red plate. I had no idea red was heavier than white. Thanks for the info RC

No matter how this shakes out. I'll be bummed for the loser and stoked for the winner, I can't pick a favorite. I have mad respect for both.... actually every guy on the track. Tomac will have completed an unbelievable charge or Dungey will have fended of a relentless challenge. Bring on Vegas!!

You can hand that title to Dungey there is no way he loses it unless he gets a mechanical. although pretty sure Marving would literally give his bike away, and worst case scenario KTM could halt half the field to let him by

If Tomac gets the lead, the only two riders that I can think of that would be willing to stay in-between him and Dungey would be Grant and Reed and neither of those guys have shown enough speed to be able to pull it off. It's looking pretty good for Dungey.

Dungey hasn't finished worse than 4th in 16 races over the last three month's. That demands some respect.

I sincerely doubt he does different than that in Vegas.
