Ripping in the big bore class on his 250f!

Qualified 27th:

Was top 10 after the first (correct me if I'm wrong) lap after a great start:

He's preparing for east coast.

I wasn't aware that he was riding a 250 until afterwards, but he did pretty good considering. Don't think he was a million miles away from making it to the main. He looked good out there

Because Zundapp 125s weren't homogolatized, it was the next best thing.

THANK YOU! Been waiting forever for someone to take notice of his A1 results, he was like 1 second behind Peick in the heat or semi or whatnot, and 2 places away from it in the LCQ? Running alongside Pourcel, Peick and alot of others, on a privateer 250? IF Alessi and Canard sits this one out, he might just get in to the main, has there ever been a 250 in the 450 main?

Canard and Schmidt will not be racing at San Diego, so there are two free spots. But I expect them to be taken by Tommy Hahn and Christophe Pourcel. Maybe before the initial West swing is over Freddy will get the 250F in.

It really isn't any surprise that a 250 can compete with 450's.

I believe it has been done many times before by privateers finding it easier to make the main, especially late in the season after injuries.

I know of no rule prohibiting modifying an engine if it stays under 450.

Yeah, Noren made it to the 450 main on 250f and actually scored points on with his 19th place. Nice work!

Maybe Webb should ride a 250 in the bigbore class,he is a fantastic 250 rider, I bet he would be doing better than he is on the 450.

good point.......makes sense I don't know why they wouldn't be able to run a big bore in the 450 class....as long as it isn't over 450 cc.

Just goes to show that 450's are too much for the stadiums. If they were all on mod 250's the indoor racing would be intense
