Just talked to Doc a few minutes ago. He was here in Muddy Creek, working the race, and started getting bad shoulder pain. He went into the Asterisk Mobile Medical rig and got an EKG. After that it was an ambulance ride to Bristol hospital with a heart attack. He had a stent placed and will be there for three days before returning home. What was he most bummed about? That he didn't get to watch the race!
He says he's hanging out and has his laptop, so you can send him email or messages, and he'll see them here.
Get well soon, Doc!

Bringing the medics to the show has been a great thing.
Get well Doc.
The Shop
Just goes to show you...... "Tomorrow is promised to no one".
Get well Doc, John Paul can't afford to lose his best customer.
If an ER doc has to go to the ER himself is he a pain in the ass to the staff who treats him?
You are the man, seriously. From your local practice in your community's ER, to year-after-year dedication on the weekends to this sport is simply astonishing.

I had the Asterisk Gas card at Salt Lake City a few years ago.........Doc gave up a tour of the Asterisk rig...we were upstairs in the rig and I had to duck and I'm only 5' 9" and shrinking. I looked at Doc and he was standing tall.......gave him some real shit for being such a shorty
Get well soon Doc B!
lack of blood supplying oxygen to the heart muscle was the cause.
Baked Chicken and salad for Doc.
Get well soon Doc B.
