I've also heard from a very reliable source that Factory Honda is thinking of switching to KTM next year.... Might be untrue, but who knows?
Ha! Funny I heard that rumor also, good one man!

Opinions..comments.
Rock.. I'm thinking it's less rumor and more confusion as to who's sponsoring what... The announcement last month that Honda had extended their relationship with the GEICO Honda team through 2017 was unfortunately followed up by some social media photos and comments by GEICO team co-owner Mike Grondahl's son about his new KTM's and how they handled better than his previous Honda's. Some photos of the kid's new KTM's with ALIAS (but not GEICO) graphics were also posted up. I'm sure Honda was not impressed, but sometimes the social media stuff can bite ya in the ass. I wouldn't expect to see a GEICO KTM relationship in MX/SX (pro or amateur) anytime soon, given the long term relationship GEICO and HONDA have enjoyed, and recent contract extensions.

I think were getting a little to much " orange " into the mix. They already rule the GP's.....now they are starting to take over in the USA. Great bikes I know.......it just seems like everything is turning orange.

That is the first step.

Winning everything in 250's (where the market really is), then doing the same in 450 about 5-10 years later (for the image).

I'm not a KTM fanboy but this is a great point. No other manufacturer has made the commitment to such a full line especially minis. So an amateur team has a chance to grab a kid on '50's and keep him all the way up to the pros............or it opens up exposure at every level of amateur mx since KTM makes a bike for all levels..........................

Who said they are the best? There is no best bike… All brands of bikes have a different feel to them, its personal choice. But they do give the Best choice out of any brand out there.

Except for a Beta
