Been reading on here for years but never activated my account. I know there is always talk about one off races for some of the euros, but has anyone ever heard if Gautier P has any desire to come to America? Whether it be for a one off, full season, or any races? I knew he was fast but after this performance i would like to see him come and race here, especially since i know most of our guys aren't going to the gps anytime soon.

He did come over for a few west coast rounds back in 2011? (I think) I talked to him about it then, and he was interested in coming over full-time. But i don't think the right deal ever materialized, and since then he's had quite a bit of success in the GPs, especially since he went to the 450. He's quite the commodity over there now, so I don't see him leaving that at this point in his career.

He might feel that way also. I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard him voice a want to come over and try it out. Im not asking because i think he would smoke us or we would smoke him, i just like to watch the fastest guys on the planet race together and he's obviously one of them.

Understandable. I didn't know how hot of a commodity he was before, but after this i figured he would be the man. maybe only second to Cairoli.

He raced for Star Racing Yamaha. I think DV brought him over.

He's been on it the past few years, he's one of the few guys that can straight up beat Cairoli. I don't follow the GP team chatter nearly as much as I do over here, but I believe HRC Honda has taken his services for next year.

The fact that Kawasaki is letting him go should remove any doubt about Villopoto's plans. There's only one person in the world they'd replace Paulin with.

Wasn't full-time, just a few west coast rounds one year.

He was fucking good on that 250 too, especially considering he must have weighed a bit. He'd actually be a great US team hire for a team.

Paulin has his own (mini) supercross track at home too. This year he's also present at Bercy (which is actually is in Lille). I think he has the supercross vibes like Musquin has and there is a possibility to come over. Maybe if he becomes champion in the GPs, he will take RV / Millsaps ride at Kawasaki (USA).

He won't go over for at least 2 years. HRC Honda won't let that happen. They want to be back on top in Europe.

No disrespect ment towards GP21, but his future plans should be praying that AC222 stays on a 250! That would have been a easy victory for him on a 350.

They should have hired AC or RV then.

I have always thought he would be better at SX than his results have actually been.

Was he signed by HRC Honda? I hope so, Honda has a real contender with this young man.

I hope Gautier Paulin stays focused on 1 sport. Outdoor Motocross. He is a close to being the master of his craft. No way to make a living doing that just racing the US National Series.
