Seems like a great sportsman, went over and shoot deans hand after the race... not used to seeing that a lot. Great ride as well. Btw what was on Tomac? In the tent after the race he had like strings around his shoulder/neck, anyone know what that was?

It's headbands. Used to hold the neck brace in place. You just pull it over the lower part of the brace that sticks out. I think Reed was the first one doing it.

That's a hangover from his GP days. They all tend to do that in the GP's, ride over shake hands, congratulate etc.

Pretty amazing to see Gareth knock out a top 5, it's been a while.

I thought he had top 5 in a moto last week. Maybe not, but he at least ran up there for a bit. Good for him indeed.
