Gared just texted me and while we were catching up I asked on behalf of the Vital faithful if he was willing to do a q&a session.. His reply "I'm down for anything bro!"

Guy B.. Not sure if you have a specific protocol you want followed but he's ready to go!

Honestly; I'd like to see a Q & A with him. Would be good for him and the sponsors that are backing him.

Serious question:

How many Twitter/Facebook fans and/or followers has he gained since he started riding the 2 smoker?

(for the record, I hate both, but think it's a good litmus test for a rider's popularity)

We would need to call the dialysis van to pick him up from his parents basement. I think we can make this happen.

What was the main reason for choosing to ride the 125?
What has been done to the motor?
How do people act or treat you at races?
Fans
Industry people
Factory people (anyone from big 4)
Whats the coolest thing a fan has said to or asked you at a race?
What do have to say to those on forums (cough cough) who say you should ride a more powerful faster 250F?
Would you have placed better?
If yes, would you have cared or would it have been better for you if you had placed better?
Are you going to continue riding a 125 and at what events in the future?
Talk about the power difference and what tracks or conditions was it the most problematic?

HAS IT BEEN WORTH IT!?

Who are your sponsors and why did they choose to help you?
Did they think they were going to get exposure because of the 125 or did you already have these connections?

Have you picked up any chicks as a direct result of beating several pros in qualifiers and races riding 250F's on an outdated, half sized, old tech smoker?

What do your parents think? Are they proud of you or have they taken you out of their will?

Keep the questions coming but remember to keep them appropriate! It's very cool of Gared to do this.

Ask him if he heard the guy right before gravity cavity cheering for him each and every pass. By the end of the Moto everybody where I stood was cheering him on. He did heel clickers and such throughout the Moto. At the end of the day HE qualified and finished a US National on a 125 cc against factory hardware and had fun on his dirt bike. Most will be only able to claim one of those facts. For all those that say otherwise show us your name on the National race listing .
I applaud his skill and his choice of bike and thank him for a great show.....Well done Garad !

You guy's act like I'm insulting his Mother.

He's not wasting his time , He's just lowering his finishing position by riding an under powered machine.

I really hate to partake in banter, but you are certainly missing the point. He stands for something. He represents something. It's relatable. It's unique and creative and it is admirable.

it's futile that's all it is.

Lets see , it stands for everyone stuck in the past, it represents a machine that is not competitive, it's absolutely not unique or creative it's done almost every year.

Yes it's admirable how well He actually does.

The amazing part is how all you old guy's sit around and jerk off about it.

You just said that he was not wasting his time and now you say it is futile. Which is it?

I think it's a great way for KTM to get in on this and ultimately market the potential of the 125- My question is, has KTM come to you w/ an offer for any bit of assistance?

I'm not an old guy. I'm a 25 year old guy who quit racing at 16 in 2006 when my dad couldn't afford it anymore.
