I don't care how clean that RMZ is, I'd never ride another one of those turds again.

That bike looks beat
It does, but just from the right side view, it looks complete and salvageable.

ETA: That YZ in the first post is beautiful.

She is no queen, but definitely a diamond in the rough.

Hey Jared,
I had one of those and absolutely worst reliability ever, but unfortunately , from every other aspect I loved that bike! When it ran(rarely), i felt like I could do no wrong. It cornered, it was fast, it handled. Regardless mine was an 04 and not the 05 but they pretty much suffered from catastrophic valve issues and mine was no exception. 3 complete engine builds in 4 months condemned it to a point I wouldn't ride. After pro circuit realesed all of their goods I bought them and vowed to never sell it to anyone I knew. Recently found out the bike is still ripping to this day. Bummer Sad

Thanks, brings back old memories. I had one of those as a magazine test bike loaner for a year. Even put buddy pegs on it so I could take my new bride for rides into the hills behind our neighborhood. There used to be JohnnyO and Hansen's test tracks up in Drinkwater Flats.

That's what I thought at first but then look at the swing arm, it looks not damaged/worn just dirty. Diamond in the rough yes, garage queen no ( not without cleaning)

Picked this 05 YZ125 up the other day for a smokin deal. I think the kid only ran it in the fields by his house. The damn warning stickers were still on it! I love this bike, damn the over rev is just the shit for a totally stock bike!!!

This is the bike I "got fast" on. Loved my 90 YZ250. So nimble with a snappy midrange powerband and stable suspension. A Bills pipe made a HUGE gain in power but the pipe was basically disposable as it was paper thin and the mere thought of crashing crushed it.

Weird sidenote, I used to love the stock YZ grips, so much so that when I put some new Alumilites on I carefully removed the grips to put on the new bars.Wink

Wonder how the forks got so faded on this one though? Almost makes me think they took sandpaper to them to try to rub the red off.
