Miro Sihvonen dislocated his shoulder in the German championship earlier this week, so he might be out for Kegums.

I've read today there's no damage to his shoulder and he can start.

Out: Strijbos, Sterry, Pootjes.
Return: Searle, Tixier, Larrañaga, Vaessen.

Jay Wilson returned to Australia and won't race GP's anymore this season.

I'm really glad to see Tommy back. Think it's going to be tough for him first few GP's but I can see him getting into the 5-10 range once he's back in the swing of it

I think I read that Larrañaga had an infection in his leg and was back at hospital. Doubt he is back based on that.

Sihvonen is gonna fly out on Friday and gonna try out the shoulder on Saturday morning in practice. Hopefully he would be able to ride and manage some points.

How are the rider numbers, especially in EMX125 and 250.

Great to see.

Will be interesting to see what Herlings can do.
I was at Kegums last year and it was a great event. Better for spectators than last week in Valkenswaard imo.

Kegums is definitely better for race watching plus I like the prices better in Latvia than I do Holland.

Kegums, again a great track for racing! Only thing I don't like is the start.. 180 degree turn to the right always gives problems, as the riders don't have a rear brake.

I think Herlings will be on the podium again, starts will be very important once again. In het mx2 I think Jonass will walk away with the win. Would be cool to see as it is his home crowd. Another guy that could get the win in a short period of time is Olssen. Lieber and Seewer need to get some points back though. Lieber has 45pts to make up and Seewer 19pts Also watch out for Brian Hsu, he was very impressive to me in Valkenswaard despite his poor result in the first race.

Surprised more people didn't comment on Prado's MX2 win.

Thank you. Luckily the people in charge of this website also thought so, which is why they picked me up to cover the MXGPs for Vital.

But I'm Not sure about the prices though... Latvia has gotten a LOT more expensive than it used to be. Not really much difference now especially on nights out... Apparently Wink

How is the weather and track? Sandy or more hardpack base . We have seen Kegums in both condition.

Will be interesting to see who can turn it up a notch in the next few weeks. Around May-June-July the silly season begins among the riders and a lot of them see their contracts expired:

Desalle and Tixier their contract with Kawasaki ends.
Strijbos and Jasikonis their contract with Suzuki ends.
Van Horebeek his contract with Yamaha ends.
Nagl his contract with Husqvarna ends.
Coldenhoff his contract with KTM ends.

Gajser, Cairoli, Paulin and Anstie stay where they are.

Seewer, Lieber, Paturel, Vlaanderen, Monticelli and Petar Petrov have to make te move to MXGP in 2018 due to the age rule. Seewer has a deal with Suzuki MXGP already.

Good track for Herlings to continue to build confidence with its sandy surface.

I read somewhere that Everts is looking to extend Jasikonis' contract for 2 years (if the results in the upcoming races are alright)

Him being entered doesn't neccesarily mean he'll be riding.

Likewise Anstie isn't entered even though he's tweeted he'll be riding.

A Lativian GP thread without Kongols is like an Alessi thread without Bobby
Ha! I agree!

Remember when Alessi posted a video of himself hitting the triple at his house, after injuring his shoulder? Didn't he dedicate that video to Bobby (to prove he was fit to race)?

Kongols, please come home, we miss you (Kenny Watson voice)

Thank you. Luckily the people in charge of this website also thought so, which is why they picked me up to cover the MXGPs for Vital.

But I'm Not sure about the prices though... Latvia has gotten a LOT more expensive than it used to be. Not really much difference now especially on nights out... Apparently Wink
You're very welcome. This Vital MX gig news brightens my evening. Congratulations!
