I watch every MotoGP, they use a three letter for each rider and pull the column all the way to left of the screen. About the same width as the bottom ribbon. It's the left boarder of the screen, not superimposed on the screen. Big difference.

I don't know, it's not bothering me at all, and I have a a 52" screen. Then again, this IS the first A1 I've seen since '11'.

Get rid of it ? No way. This box is the best change they made. Sure, it gets in the way once in a while, but i see more racing then the previous years. The stupid bar at the top always scrolling by. When i wanted to follow a rider that was not showed on tv i was spending more time looking at that bar scrolling by then looking at the actual racing. Now it's just a quick glance to the left and i see where he is, who is making up ground, who is loosing positions,...
I really can't see why you guys are so against it. It's a hughe improvement.

All they need to do is have the number listed... hopefully they are considering this being the first race and number/name recognition.

On one hand it's nice to quickly glance at but it is a bit of an eyesore.


Would be awesome to have just racing on the tv and have that timing and scoring bar on your cellphone.

If they could fit it all the way to the left and shrink it a little it would be fine. But it is sort of floating around to much. I like it in that I can glance and see my rider. Where the other way had to wait a while to see if someone was advancing.

While we are complaining I also hate when sports channels have that bar at the bottom that updates news and sports scores. I don't want to see that shit. It's just distracting the ticker bar that has nothing to do with the race. I hate that.

A good compromise would be just to show the left bar every few minutes or so for about 10-15 seconds and that's it. I wouldn't mind that at all and that would be nice.

I didn't notice it too much. One day this will be on a callup menu or something. Hit the spacebar on your remote and it comes up, do it again and it goes away. Are you listening, TV people?

I like the new bar. Easy to read, doesn't take up too much space. Dont have to wait for the scroll across the screen. You're nuts.

Yep... I like the box. Much easier to follow running order and gaps.
I do wish I had a bigger TV..It would be even better.

All the way to the left wouldn't be good. It would block more then it does now because you mis that tiny space on the left side of the box.

But yes, smaller would indeed be better. And it is so easy in motocross if you ask me. I don't like the 3 letters they use in F1 and motogp. Sometimes you loose time by wondering who the hel "VER" of "MEL" is. In motocross is it easy. Any idea who "KR94" is ? Or "TR41" ? Or "MA800" ? .......

But for now this is good. It's a big improvement to previous years.

I love it. You can actually keep track of riders position at a glance, rather than having to read every single name as they slowly scroll across the screen. You spend way more time doing that than just glancing at the box. Nicely done Foxsports.

I hate that it is so HUGE!!

It is good to see all stats at once, but it is too big!! What is next, another box saying which racers like puppies and which like cats?!

We already have to suffer through the info bar at the bottom on EVERY damn show on sports and some news networks.

Also sucking was when they shrunk the screen over to the left and up to make room for big ads on the right. Thankfully it went away.

Get rid of it or make it smaller like F1. I want to see the action on the track. I hate missing action in a corner because that bar is covering the corner. I'll figure out who got 17th place after the race.

I couldn't stand it, but see why it's more useful than the scroller. Make it smaller, transparent, and just have color coded initials or race numbers, and I'll be able to live with it.
