Hi Guys!

Might be working on a project here in the OC and have heard about the "Fullerton Mini-Bike Park" back in the 70's. Anyone know anything about it? Are there pictures people might have of the goings on there?

Thanks!

Todd

I know the City of Montclair (CA) opened a Mini Bike Park in the early 70's if you would like info on that?

The City of Westminster had a mini bike park (complete with grandstands). It's a city park/soccer field now.

I lived a half mile from Fullerton mini bike park, only rode there a few times, there were plenty of open riding places back then. It was very hilly, kinda ran through the river bed with huge hills on both sides. It was across the street from the cemetery on the west side.

I lived there in the 60's, 70's & 80's but never heard about a mini bike park but many rode at the construction site before the freeway was built and of course there was a "rough Scrambles" track in the oil fields (I believe it was called Spencer Park). With Saddleback & Escape Country along with El Toro and OCIR there wasn't much need for any more tracks. There was a practice track out above Laguna Beach that Winert and Semics used besides other local pro's.

You know who might be able to help is Ron Hendrickson or Jody Wisel or maybe even Lance Morewood. It was off of Bassncherry and Harbour Blvd . Ron and Lance were involved with the mini stuff and Jody just from his MXA archives.

It's just BMX jumps now. I either ride my bike or go for a run down there every day. I could take pictures if you'd like tomorrow and post them on here.

It was in a little gorge east of the hospital. Straight, 180, straight, 180........up and down. 100cc limit.
There was a ton of riding in North OC. Sad
