I am so sorry this has happened to you. I did get my one and only stolen bike back by doing a ton of foot work on my own. I wen to every shop within 50 miles and told them to keep a look out for anyone new buying parts for my model (Honda Z-50 pit bike) or having it serviced. I spoke with both departments at each shop.

My local shop got the call (I told everyone to call the police or my sponsors shop).

Could not press charges (Mayor's son), but I got my bike back.

Yep no lifes!!!!! I have 2 girls and if anyone came to my house with the intent to burgle I just dont know how I would react, suffice to say I will be as angry as what you are now...the bike can be replaced (even tho she looks sweet), the violation of my house and potential risk to my girls and my wife?? well....heck!!! Makes my blood boil just thinking about it!

I've shared on my page and a bike group I'm in with other local mx'ers. I saw you shared it to Appin and Mt.Kembla mxers, i'm sure the Wollongong mx club would share it if you contacted them. Maybe also contact Pacific Park and Louie at Mudgee, they may post something up at the track noticeboards.

With you 100%.... When my garage was done over I was fuming that they had the nerve to break in when my son, 11 at the time was in the room above.... Still scares me that he might have heard them, thought it was me and wandered down stairs..... I think if you break into a house with a minor in it should be treated as a child sex offence..... You wouldn't dare break into a school when it was open...... Hope you get your KTM back, gutted for you.

Sorry to hear of the bike loss, although most important as you said thankfully no harm or even initial trauma to your wife and girl, i cant imagine how that feels.

This type of sneaky home invasion is almost nightly on the telly, as you know usually breaking in and stealing the car keys.
