Typical early Texas summer. Mid-90s, high humidity, almost no cloud cover, and windy. But it's that miserable hair dryer type wind, not cool and refreshing.

I hope Roczen get`s through this day in one piece. He`s definitely not used to this kind of weather.

The one thing Roczen has going for him is staying with Andrew Short. So he has at least been exposed to it and knows what to expect. I doubt he's had time to adjust but at least it won't be a surprise. Like always there's a huge difference doing 30+2 with your buddy on his fairly smooth track (by comparison) and entirely another to get beat to death by a real national track.

They archive the races but I don't know about the time frame. They're usually pretty quick about it but it's a new season with new streaming tech delivery so it's getting the bugs worked out still.

So YES they'll have them but can't tell you when they will. You'll just have to keep checking the web page.

That's spot on. I just got in a bit ago from my morning run, and it is sticky already. Now that the heat is rising, that blow dryer effect is kicking ass :-)

Training for Ironman Texas 2014, May 17th, The Woodlands. I must be stupid...!

Man what happened to Sarah Whitmore? I thought she used to battle for wins a couple a years ago, now she is off the pace badly.

Anyways looking forward to the races.....should be good to see how Dungey responds since he rides this track well. Also I wish Tyla was racing and not injured. He would have been a big threat this weekend. He excels in the heat.....

Keep the 2-stroke alive.
