I have Dish network and the Fox Sports 2 channel is terrible, it sucks!!! you can't even read the banner on the top of the broadcast to see what position my favorite riders are in. i'm not sure why we can't have it in HD every other channel is HD

No HD here, but will we really miss anything? Speed had the worst HD quality. I'd like to think they spent some money in the change.

No dice. We are stuck w/ Charter.

All this makes me nervous to see the new SX TV package for 2014. If its on FS2 im gonna be pissed, So spoiled by HD...and to think ive only had HDTV for under a year lol

What's BS? Buy the channel if you want to watch the race. Pretty simple.

it's a phone call and $8.99.

I seriously can't believe people on here complain about having to "buy" a channel to watch hours of live SX. especially when it is under 10 bucks.

why the fuck would i pay $10 a month extra for a standard def channel? no way, no how. its 2013. i can watch seinfeld episodes from the mid 90's in HD.

if they want to play all these little "exclusives" games, then neither of them win and we will just torrent that shit for free. fuck em.

I can't believe what I am reading.

To see the race LIVE that's why.

Now we are complaining it isn't HD? People complain just to complain.

You are probably a guy that just rips and burns movies, and music and thinks that is ok too. "fuck em" right?

Pay the $10, watch the race, help the ratings and help "our" reasoning for needing HD and for networks to pay our sport to have it instead of our sport paying them!!!! people don't get it. Support the sport!

I like how you turned it into favor by them broadcasting live. That's not really how it works. It shouldn't be hard or frustrating to be a fan. One of many reasons why the sport continues to struggle to draw a mainstream and consistent fan base.

HD television is the norm now and not the exception. I'm pretty disappointed I don't get it in HD. Nothing looks better in HD than supercross. This channel (the old Fuel TV) is complete junk in SD. Watching this channel is like leaving the starting line with fogged up goggles.

It's one thing if you just had to pay 10 dollars to see that channel. But having to pay 10 bucks for an extra channel when you don't watch 3/4 of the ones provided in the package is retarded.

And of course people are complaining it's not in HD. This is 2013, not the early 2000s... HD is the norm. The sport is past the whole "just be grateful it's on TV stage." It's pretty reasonable to expect coverage to get better, not worse.

Man,

I guess we just think the exact opposite. I believe it is a privilege for the powers that be to provide and pay for us fans to be able to sit in the comfort of our homes tonight and pay a few bucks to watch 3 hours of live racing. Instead of having to read about it, or buy a plane ticket, hotel, ticket to event, $10 beers, parking, Gambling money (it is vegas) and deal with a a hangover for 2 days.

I will gladly pay the money to watch the race half way across the country for an addition $10 a month on my cable bill even if it comes with 20 channels I will not watch. This is a fraction of the cost it would be to go to the actual race and quite frankly you will see more.

Why is it the sport owes people like you? Why does the sport owe it to some fans to have this race on a HD channel that is available to everyone in a basic cable package? I don't get that way of thinking from people on this board. Do you guys know how little our sport is in the big picture? We have a niche sport that needs the fans support to make it grow. We need ratings, we need to show the networks THEY NEED US, not we need them.

I wouldn't pay extra to get a non HD channel either. On a 55" Full HD TV, standard def now looks worse than it ever did on a small TV 15 years ago. I wont watch it and I just don't get why the cable company's haven't caught up yet. It would drive me insane. Cant read the bike numbers or the lap counter.

I too am worried the 2014 season will be on FOX Sports 2 because all we can get here is Comcast so no matter what I pay I wont get it. Funny that in my home country Australia they will watch the MEC LIVE in HD and probably all the 2014 SX and MX too. Everyone with Pay TV in Australia can watch it. Simple. USA Pay TV is soooo messed up.
