Fox Image LE boots - sizing?

I wear a half size and I'm only seeing whole sizes for the Fox Instinct boots. Do these boots run a little larger or smaller than normal?

I wear a 12 in both regular shoes and my instincts. Got 11s first and my toes were cramped.

I wear a size 9 or 9.5 shoe but wear a size 10 instinct. Seems like Fox boots have always been a little small.

Im guessing you already know this, but the Image LE boots are $295ish at BTO sports with the PulpMX coupon code

Older instincts run 1 size, newer models true to size and better buckles, if u are at a half size. Go up. Easier to wear thicker socks than cut off toes lol.

They are absolutely small, go full size up. I know, I had to pay to return small size to get the larger size. I'm an 11, bought the 12's

Just got my order in. The only $329 boots are the pink/blue. I wanted aqua but the PulpMX code only knocks off 60 bucks from $599.

My Gearnes broke in very easy.. how are the Instincts? Do I need to soak them in water & walk around for a bit?

I love my instincts. I got some new ones this year but what they say about the sizing is still off. I wear a size 9 shoe and needed a size 10 instinct. I tried the 9 after hearing the new ones are true to size but it hurt my foot it was so tight.

Weird, i had the early instintcs, fit one size small, got 2 pairs last year, my shoe size 12, true to size for me, great boot, easy break in. Improved buckles also.

Never had the LEs, but I bought a pair when they first came out. Wear 11 tennis shoes so I bought size 11 Instincts and they tore my toes up. Way too tight. Ended up selling them. I heard that the newer ones are a bit bigger, but I'm not sure if its true.

I wore size 10 astars and had to get 11 instincts otherwise my toes felt like they were going to explode. And I have a narrow foot

You know whats funny, I bought a pair back in the beginning of 2014, and ordered a size 11 as I wear a 10.5 shoe.

After trying them on they ran a little small, so I sent them back and ordered a 12.....they still didn't fit.

So I sent them back again and order a 13! Yes I wear a 10.5 shoe and a 13 Instinct boot.....

I am buddies with the Fox rep in my area and no one could really figure out how they are that far off. The customer service they have is amazing, and I just told em don't worry about it because I got a pair that fit.




With that being said my case is an isolated incident and not a common occurrence.

I love my Instincts and will honestly never buy another boot. Zero break in, more comfortable then tennis shoes, and the safety is top notch

I got my Instinct boots six months ago. I wear a 12 street shoe and bought 12 Instincts they fit perfectly.

Best boots I have ever worn by far.

Terrible boot!!! Run small, bad buckles, don't last long....I bought the premier forma boot and it's hands down the best boot I've ever had as far as ankle protection and durability....Sidi Crossfire is right there as well

The 12s fit nicely and no break in time. I got mine at such a rediculously low price I couldn't pass up the deal. No broken buckles or any abnormalities after a dozen rides or so. I'm very satisfied for $230 bucks.

I like older model with the stitched lower straps. Plastic clips break so easy it's irritating.

I have skinny feet and chicken legs. I wear a size 10 shoe and I wear a size 10 instinct. Guys with stocky legs and Kankles are gonna have to size up a few. But personally for my thin build they're perfect for me.

No break in time. They go on and feel great. Fox is good about replacing clips. They sent me a dozen. Every three or four rides one breaks. But they're easily replaced.


My next boot will be either gaerne sg10 or sg12.

Funny cuz both pairs I have you need fat legs/kankles to fill out the top strap. Also no issues with buckles for me. it's almost like they have them made at different facotries or something...

Got my boots a few days ago - fit perfect (I ordered one size up per recommendation).

How can I get more of the replacement buckle parts? Fox doesn't list them in their spare parts section of the website.

I wear size 9 shoes and had to have a 10 in the Instincts. I have wide feet and 9's were too narrow. 10's fit perfect.
