I'd like to see a collection of all the different fork coatings out there. Upper and lower. What do have, where did you get it done, what did you pay, photos of course. How do you like it.. Ect.

I've run the kashima before, as well as WC/C (Japanese version of DLC) Kashima is a headache to send off to Japan for.. Company in Japan holds a patent on it. Shit is so slick your triples will barely hold em. WC/C is 4x harder than chrome.

Let's see what you have.

I got rid of the kashima upper tubes, hard anodized and it's very durable.

The blue/green are all titanium Nitride. they introduce a gas into the process, and depending where that gas falls on the periodic table of elements, that is the color is produces. Blue is oxygen. the only problem is, it's not Titainum nitride at that point, and not as strong. that's why you will see pro circuit call it "turquoise nitride"

Yes, they were stripped and hard clear coated until they turned a golden brown. They were leftovers from a large batch I did back around '07.

I found that more people want to "Oooh" and "Ahhhh" over coatings than are willing to pay the costs, but I can facilitate it if necessary.

My guess is a big fat zero. Looks good though.
