Just finished rebuilding and shining this thing all up after about a year... This is the most fun bike I have ever ridden, and I cannot wait to go roost on this thing again! It's not a big bore, but it does retain a full Tom Morgan Racing motor.

Very nice ride....

You live Beverly Hills huh? Do your neighbors like the sound of a crisp two stroke?

The motor work was done in 05 right before he merged with White Bros.

Man I just got way too excited looking at that thing, it is sweet.

I might have to get a 125, whenever my leg actually decides to heal.

I was busy, lazy, cheap, and I also had to rebuild 2 YZ250's from the ground up, as well as set up two new YZ450's. I am an excellent procrastinator, but once they are done its always a treat!

Serious question... can a guy 220lbs get out of his own way on a 125?

And, I am serious, was thinking of getting one and building a 144 instead of a used 450.

How close are you to getting back on a bike? Need to come down to pipe creek when you get healed! You can see it if your on 69 good practice track and i heard baer field is not being groomed?

I holeshot my age class at Washougal a couple of times on an RM125. Long uphill start against everything from other 125s to 625 KTM's.

I weighed about 200-210 at the time. Easily 220 with gear on.

So yeah, it's all about holding it on longer and keeping your corner speed higher. If you try and stop/pivot and accelerate out of the tight corners you'll get roasted. It takes different lines and a different approach to go fast on one, but you can easily be competitive on one as long as you're not riding a class where your competition can out ride their bike's ability.

Plus they're waaay more fun to ride. It's like racing my 450 supermoto against a liter class sportbike on a tight track. It's underpowered, but competitive. Slower in some spots and faster in others due to the light weight and flickability.

Riding a slow bike fast is tons more fun than riding a fast bike slow.

I did all the graphics myself. And everything Rooster said is spot on. I am on the lighter side but I have holeshotted against 450s, 250s and everything in between. This thing is way more fun to run wide open then cruising around on my 450.

Right on, thanks.
I had a 250f in between 450's a while back, and was actually a bit faster on it around a bumpy track than my 450's, preferred the 450 for all around use though.
But, right now I'm on a big time budget, so I might just go for something like that, it's all in fun now a days anyway.Cool
Sorry, for the hijack!
