Florida Tracks & Trails cooler rental?

sounds like a scam to get you to buy stuff from their general store. I'd still bring my cooler and hide it in my truck.

That will be a big ole "bite me". A cooler that looks like a tool box would be the way to go.

thats crazy, they will have to employ a full time cooler nazi to enforce it. with the hare scramble season over now i was going to ck it out but might wait to see if its worth it.

Florida Tracks & Trails is unlike anything Florida has ever seen before. We have years into planning and creating the ULTIMATE OUTDOOR ADVENTURE & ENTERTAINMENT facility.

Florida Tracks & Trails is designed for up to 20,000 visitors a day. There is ample parking space on the grounds for truck & trailer units with extra parking capacity as needed for concerts and special events attendants.

There will be a dedicated drop off zone for those bringing off-road vehicles to the park. Once the OHV is dropped, guests will be instructed to park in the area designated for trailers. A quick walk brings the guest to where the OHV is parked and waiting to jump on the tracks or trails.


Q: Can we bring our own food and beverages inside the park?

A: No. Outside food and/or beverages will not be permitted inside the recreation park. Full concessions and a general store will be available for purchasing food and beverages once inside the park. Hydration stations will also be available for water at no charge. (Note: Separate rules will apply for RV Campground guests AND for special event participants in which exceptions will be made and clearly posted).

Can you bring your own tools or do you have to rent those too?

What a bunch of bullshit. If im going to be putting in laps in HOT Florida Im going to bring my own drinks. Fuck passing out walking to a "hydration" station. Total bullshit.

That's honestly the stupidest thing I have ever heard. With that kind of dumb logic they will probably charge movie theatre prices for water and snacks.

Considering that a lot of tracks around the country are struggling and not making money, I think its great for the industry to have a giant track like this opening. brings more money in and grows the sport. Hell, these guys are probably just trying to make a living. im sure 90% of the people wont comply, but that little snack stand they have there will sure come in handy when someone wants a cold beverage and its 100 degrees out.

all they need now is a small gas station and not allow anyone to bring in any outside fuel..

Yep, Disney up the road has a gas station on property, Disney for moto freaks if they can pull it off...

I think that is a foregone conclusion. I'm not going to park my bikes (2-3) away from my camp site. Just no way. And I live in Florida, with family in Pine Island, so I could actually plan a trip down. What a mess. I smell failure.

I think it was just no coolers for events like concerts but ok for the track area's is what I heard from my friends who went when it first opened. I could be wrong but I hope not.

I think a few people are jumping a little to quickly to a conclusion.

First off it would make a lot of sense if that rule only pertained to a concert or similar event.

However if the rule does include moto I guess I would just have to see what the prices are like. I mean if I buy a couple waters and I am looking at 20 bucks, you can go screw yourself. BUT. If I buy a case of water at the track and its maybe a buck or two higher and those two dollars go towards the track ( more flaggers, better track prep, etc ) then honestly I wouldn't have a problem with it.

I will say though it better be one hell of a track if I have to buy my water from there...

So if they are able to accommodate 20,000 people a day, logic dictates that they should have a warehouse on sight with 20,000 coolers stored in preparation.

Are you allowed to use EZ-ups, and do you have to pay an increased fee for the square footage of shade?

Well just put one in the toy hauler.. Gonna be kind of hard to regulate that isn't it? They can't search your trailer... Hell I use a cooler to load my bike when I just use the truck

Right now it is most likely a track like any other gigantic but a normal track.

If they are finished I guess the thinking behind might be different.

I read some articles and watched some Videos provided from them.
They spend or are about to spend 20 Million USD that's way too much for a MX Track!

The promotional Videos shows it all!
It will be a Disney World for action freaks like us with the possibility to do other things as well for the entire day.
To me it was not smart to announce the cooler thing as of know.

They are still under construction and once its finished they probably could do something like this.
Nobody knows really what's the reason. When I read it first hand I thought and wrote not for me!
But if you read the rules Alcohol is not allowed at all!
So that might be the reason and one part they had to fulfill to get it signed off!

I don't know but what do they want to do inspect every Car, Truck, Trailer and RV prior you can enter the property?

It specifically says "riders" in the original post so I dont think it's just for concerts.

Track and Trail has reversed the no cooler policy due to all the complaints.

Everyone is going flip out and cry when it closes in a year or 2 due to lack of funding.... You want something grand, you have to be willing to support something grand.

I think they can make way more money with other offerings.

You need to have lunch if you stay the entire day.
With that you sell other products as well.

Anyway it is a risky business spending 20 Million and being that far south.
