For 2019 all honda has to do is put black rims, single exhaust pipe, and all red graphics and this generation is perfected. Drop 5 pounds immediately with the exhaust, no one thinks its a good idea anyways, then some little cosmetic upgrades and its as good as gold. Like this with electric start and a single exhaust.

Better late than never, hard to imagine the Japs have been so reluctant to add such a simple thing.

If they went single, that exhaust wouldn't be nearly that small...add another eight inches or so.

I hope you can add a kickstarter easily?
Do you have a crank start on your car or truck?

Only another $300? That's a bargain. I just paid $500 for the parts to add it to mine, and I'm doing all the work.

248 pounds. HOLY SHIT. Talk about heavy....
That's also curb weight, but yeah, still much heavier than a KTM. Subtract about 10-12 pounds for fuel the way other manufacturers reporting weight.

Same as the rmz450, and it's heavy!
Na RM-Z is 2 lbs lighter and the 2018 RM-Z is surely lighter than that. Honda just became the heaviest 450 depending on if the YZ-F gained any weight

Haha, I wish for every time I had alternator or battery issues in my life I could have used the kick start instead of looking for jumper cables or a tow truck.

Electronics can fail and leave you stranded. I love the idea of an electric start but would still like to have a kick starter as well. There will be someone who gets stranded in the middle of nowhere because their E-start failed them and they didn't have the option of kicking the bike over. I could think about my rides in Baja where we do deep river crossings or similar, and someone's bike gets dumped over and flooded. E-start won't work for whatever reason, and can't kick the bitch....can't jump start it either because of the terrain. Stranded......
