This was '93. Pounding out laps at Broome Tioga for days. My friends and I used to camp there during the week in between summer Nat's. Oh yeah, the bet was who would do the triple naked. Scott Myers and I rode WFO naked for 2 days. On the second day the track had at least 50 riders on it who we didn't know. We passed them all. Smile It turned out they were the flaggers for the upcoming National and it was their free day to ride.

This was '91 at the USGP at Glen Helen, launching into orbit off a Marc Peters built table top (FIM rules). It wasn't too bad by yourself but 3 or 4 other guys around you made the 100' leap pretty interesting.

This was '93 at a rare SX practice track that wasn't owned by a factory team.

I've got more but I'm supposed to be doing something else! I'll post up later.

hahaha...I don't know! I did my best to not hit the dirt.

Here's a pic from '02 I think. It would be a lot easier if you didn't have a turn at the bottom but it's still pretty easy. Any soCal guys know where this is?

I just realized that the movie company has all of my good pictures. Sad

i think i know where that last pic is... forget the name... but you parked by the JT building and there were thousands of acres you rode on... right by the border.

That road jump you could do going up or down.

I think you guys are talking about Palm Avenue which that is definitely not. Looks more like the Cajon Pass area.

Is it the "park and ride"? You would park where people would meet up with the bus or a carpool... Then cross the freeway and ride up the mountain or hill or whatever it was...

This is the place I am talking about...

Bobby, these were all before the amputation.

Danny, what number were you? I don't recognize anyone in that pic and I'm sure I knew all of them.

No,but I remember there being a big road jump at Dove Springs. It was so worn down it was hard to do.

No kidding. That bump at the bottom got to be too big and killed all your momentum on a two stroke. What a fun jump it was before all that though.

There was a jump. same hill, that went the opposite way, and you hit a kicker and floated over the road and down the hill. That one was fun.
