With a recent injury and time off work I've had a bit of time to get acquainted with some of the bikes in MXGP3. The Honda, Suzuki and KTM in the MXGP class and the KTM, Kawasaki and Yamaha in the MX2 class. For some reason I can't go nearly as fast on any other bike as I can on the KTM's, namely the 250f
What preference does everyone else have?

Yamaha 450 I enjoyed a lot, and the KTM seemed like it was almost unfairly quick. I thought the Honda 450 handled good but lacked motor.

I ride the MX2 bikes a lot more and I’ll say that the Yamaha 250f, along with husky, and kawis all we’re great. Personally I felt that you could really put the Yamaha on it’s side through a turn. Seems almost like the opposite from real life from what I’ve heard Laughing

I do like the yz250f, but compared to the KTM I feel it doesn't have as much motor. I just had a quick stint on the crf250r and found it to be all round quite good, same as the kawi. I'm yet to try the Suzuki, husky or TM in the MX2.

ktm 450 is def fastest. but husky all the way around is where i go.

and mx2 in that game is more fun to me. i race the 250f a lot until i get bored then jump on 450s and they seem so fast.

although lately i’ve been on mxsim. but mxgp3 is a great game and i really like how each bike is so different and it’s kind of a new experience every time you get on a different bike.

If your stats are maxed then ktm. Suzuki is ok... Sort of slow. Husky is best all around but you can't beat the ktm. Lowest stat on the bike is like 9.7 lol rocketship

I don't buy a bike unless I have enough credits for an exhaust system and suspension. I run Pirelli scorpion's on all my bikes and the braking batfly 280 font disk

are the self modded bikes faster than the team bikes?

Just did a season on the yzf450. hated it struggled to get it to work.

Pretty sure I'm one of the few that notices little to no difference between the bikes. They all feel like reskins to me!

Suspension setting make a huge difference in my opinion. Took me forever to find what worked for me on the YZ450.. The zuk seems stable and slow, and I agree the KTM rips but is too jittery for me.

I found the KEMEA Yamaha yz250f had a stronger motor than the self modded yz250f but they both have similar handling. Also the redbull KTM 250sx-f had better handling than the self modded 250sx-f, but a similar motor.
I think instead of "better" they're just different.
However I found the Monster Energy DRT Kx250f to be better than the Monster Energy Kawasaki MX2 Kx250f, DRT being a lower interest team, I was pretty surprised

I have done 3 or 4 seasons now and I have ridden almost everything. I am currently on a YZ250. I just went 2-1 at Loket. I switched to the 250 2T because it makes the racing harder and more technical. The hardest race I have had was on the TM250 2T. It claims it the fastest 2 stroke but it was very hard to race I went 4-1 on it. I like to switch bikes when I want so I always stick to my own team. As for your question my go to favorite bike is KTM, but like some have said they can all win just as easy.

That's one thing I hope Milestone changes with the SX game. The bikes need to be more balanced when fully modded. It's a sea of orange when playing online because the KTM is the best in almost every area.

I'd like to see a bigger range of modifications, I.e the ability to tune engine characteristics, instead of just an exhaust

I usually stick to the YZF450 because I like losing. So far so good.

That would be dope. Make it like forza where you're fast if you can build your car to be fast.

Husky for the 450s. Best all around, IMO.

KTM is the fastest, but it spins more, and the suspension is definitely funkier handling than the husky, suz, kawi, etc.

It's easier to run consistently fast laps for me on the husky over the ktm for the fact of the tire spinning though. Loss of traction is a loss of momentum.

KTM or Kawi for 250. YZF 3rd.

I mainly use the RM-Z450 but I also use the KX450f. I usually get top 3 on most online matches. I think rider skill matters more in the game. If you can master braking and taking the inside lines on turns you'll do a lot better than most people who try to rail each turn.
