If its had a frame change, which as a factory bike it will have, they dont come with numbers on.. it may even have been built from new in parts.

If a frame has been replaced it wont have a VIN number stamped on it. Some times it makes it hard to sell sometimes it doesn't. I have sold several bikes with no problems without a VIN stamped on it. Doubt that is a factory bike, more than likely just a bike that was raced at a national that had to go through tech.

Strip the inch thick powder coat off of it and you may find one. You can hardly tell the frame has welds!Laughing

Clean bike though, looks good!

What's the number on the cylinder, to the left of the reed cage? That will identify the year unless the cylinder has been changed. It's 99-02, but some people were putting the 99 cylinder on the newer models back in the day.

Contact the ama with the number on the tech inspection sticker maybe? Might be cool to see what they can tell you if they still have info on it

Judging by the graphics, it's a 2001. I used to get the used factory bikes from Kawi back in the day. My dad is friends with the previous parts manager. The carbon fiber guards on the side number plates are super rare, were manufactured from Greg Berg from Berg Racing when he used to share a small industrial space with Ross from Enzo suspension in Santa Ana, California. I used to have the same graphics on my 01 KX125.

Looks like it could be an old rc bike the way the subframe has been cut to make back end lower

Frame may have been restored several times and number could have been sandblasted out. When will be there, will be under powder.
