Moved an Öhlins shock from a '12 Honda to a '14 and Öhlins only changed the rod.

Odd, I'll double check, but that's what I remember TLD doing from 13 to 14.

Talked to a buddy who was TLD's suspension guy at that time.

Going from a 13 250 to the 14 they had to change the clevis and body. The older body had excess material around the side of the adjuster housing that would run into the frame. He also said Showa didn't have a shaft the right length so they had to swap the clevis. Going backwards from newer to older however, he said the new body might work on the older bike but he wasn't sure.

99% sure he was eluding to asking me why I want the shock and not the forks. Nothing about the kit itself

I was going to ask if they honored the VitalMX Discount Code . Cough.

I don't know why I resisted the real question but I did. Maybe the deciding factor had to do with the cleanup that already happened in this thread and it doesn't appear to be a troll account or asking a goofy ass question.

I remember the chick that was trying to set the "Longest Plank on a dirt bike" record. . . That thread had the word "DERAIL" written all over it.

Hopefully Darryl and Gould get to snatch up the suspension products.

Thanks for the info. Even though I'm not the one interested in buying it. Seems about right, the Öhlins body isn't the same as the Showa body. The body did hit the pipe on the '14 Honda (not the frame), but some mods made it work.

Not sure how long Courtney's been hanging around here but I doubt you get the answer you were hoping for. Good luck on the sale Jake and Courtney.

Thanks Ricky. Smile

I've never posted in the forum before this. I've only gotten Bike of the Day on here a couple times. Trying to post Jake's suspension anywhere that will get noticed in order to try and sell it.

Curious these still available.
What spring rate? Have the triple clamps?
What are they currently set up for? (SX or National, pro or slow, skinny or fat)

Darryl916, curious if you still wanted to go halfies if still available.

I'm on the fence, but getting darn close to pulling the trigger.

They are.they are air forks so they don't have a spring rate they can be adjusted to whichever setting needed and the rear is a 5.7 and yes I do have the clamps and they are set of for 185 outdoor national pro
