i don't have the official results but i'm pretty sure Schultz won the limb loss class and Ridgeway was second. It was hard to tell as the they ran 2 drops for them with the Limb Difference (para) taking off second. Doug was hauling and quickly mixed in with the first group. I had to pick up a couple guys that went down today...that was a challenge in itself. Today was very humbling...these guys were killin it out there. had a great time...and this class was a pleasure to shoot.

I've never watched one of these races but I have incredible respect for these guys after what they've been through. I have to ask though, what is the starting procedure? Does someone or something hold them up?

Nice photos Dan! Weeks won both motos and the overall in the limb-difference class, followed by Doug Henry and Nick Pappas. Doug fell in the second moto right after passing Weeks... they were both HAULING ASS. Once Doug got rolling again, he mounted a serious charge and closed the gap on Weeks, but not enough to put a wheel in on him. In the limb-loss class, Mike Schultz won the overall in spite of the fact that he was dead last and then some off the start. Ridge was off to a hefty lead in that moto and could have had the overall win if he didn't have mechanical problems (which is unfortunate because he was riding a very badass CR250 2 smoker). In the end, Schultz was on the top step, with Nick Mardis in second, and Jim Wazny in third.

My brother and I will have an event video on RacerX later this week, as well as a video on Weeks for Vurb. I'll be sure to post links here once the coverage gets published.

What about Darius Glover #117

he had his goggles off in this pic because he fell in one of the corners...I was the only one near him so i set camera down and helped him back up...Glover was on the gas all day. really enjoyed watching him ride.

if you guys got facebook, here's the album of pic's.

Glad to see Harold still ripping. He's been a fixture at Englishtown for years and a fast pro to boot.

Harold (#248) was the only arm amputee I think.

That's awesome!

Great to see Justin Weeks out there riding again but didn't he post a video of himself riding a mountain bike about a year ago after his crash?

Thanks for the pictures!

It was a great event. I'm bummed that I didn't win but I did the best I could and it wasn't good enough this year. I will never wear an XL white shirt again unless I'm robbing a bank. I didn't put on an extra 50lbs over the winter...but it was really cold in practice so I wore a bunch of shirts!

Thanks again to all of the people here who supported Limbs For Life and myself for this event. The athletes here are world class people and I'm really proud to be apart of something so cool.
