He was one of my favorite riders when I first became a fan of the sport. After his practice crash he showed up at a few races for a couple of years to watch but I haven't seen much of him since then.

Does anyone know what he is doing now?

Also if tblazier is around and reading this do you have any pictures of him?

He was working at Answer, I presume he still is, at the beginning of the year I believe Answer bought out some Fonseca signature gear also.

I did hear about his Answer signature gear. And the gear looked pretty good.

Glad to hear he is still around the industry. IMO Fonz was one of the original members of the "B Group." He was a threat and was solid and consistent. I liked his style too....

YES - Matthes that would be a GREAT podcast! Ernie was one of my favorite riders.

I think his accident is what brought on the realization of the possibilities of what can happen on a bike when things go wrong. I also think Ernies accident is directly related to why we have neck braces. Right about the same time as Ernie we also had James Marshall's accident.

He has done one. It seems that the direct link only directs you to PulpMx website, but you can find the show via the link to Itunes.

Ernie is pure class! when he got hurt by older brother wrote him a letter, after what my bro went through with me getting hurt, he knew first hand how hard it is, and surprisingly, Fonz even replied to his letter, that is pretty damn cool if you ask me!
