Very cool, I am glad he is doing so well, I was a big fan of Erick and thought he had a lot of potential, I was always excited to see his name.

Didnt EV always ride the parade lap with a big sombrero?

I remember in the year 2000, Erick showed up and raced the AA Pro class at the Texas Championship Hare Scramble Series, it was a race in Beaumont, and Erick showed up outta nowhere and lined up on a 125 smoker. He went on to beat the entire 'regular' Pros for 2+ hours on that dang tiddler, and he completely checked out. The guy was amazing on a bike.

Great to hear he is doing well and enjoying life.

His podium interviews were as good or better than Travis Preston's too.
Erick stayed at my place a few times over the years and was always super polite and thankful as well.
He just hit me up on LinkedIn a few days ago if any of you are members on that site.

He'll always be the guy with the sombrero on his helmet for the parade lap to me.

Stewart should glue the granny cap to his helmet sometime for the parade lap.
