Ok, with all my complaining I will have to say that when it is turned up and not too wet it is pretty good. Right between the slick and the hard blue grove.

The last time I was there, they watered just before our moto. It was the scariest 6 laps of my life. The guy who won the pro class stopped to yell at the flagger/promoter after the moto. I still refer to it as the death race.

It is the property owner and he tells it like it is. He will keep the track open until he can make more money putting homes on it and will then reopen somewhere else. I think the 2 brothers are out and I know there was a lawsuit I heard involved. This could also just be a rumor like most everything seems to be out here. But the real part was they are opening April 11.

If you haven't ridden there you wouldn't understand. The dirt there is lake bottom
dirt that by contract cannot be changed by bringing in any new dirt. It is what it is.
In fairness I never rode there in the last 3-4 years. However, the rule of thumb was to
never ride after they watered. The dirt just turned to snail snot. There is then a short
window before the transformation to the next undesirable phase.
