ESPN posted a video of the Peick fight on their Instagram. Already has over 20,000 likes. Is this something that is good or bad for our sport? What are yalls thoughts.

I'm sure there will be the "any press is good press argument", but personally, I think it's embarrassing. Makes us look like a bunch of idiots.

Peick has let this JGR ride go to his head, he sounded like such a cocky "bro" the last time he was on PulpMX.

I imagine this incident will knock him down a peg or 2.

Good how? It could get exposure, but then again people could look at it and say what idiots they are for fighting. The wheelie boys get exposure, so exposure can't be the only criteria for "good" for the sport.

It's all the AMA's fault for letting Vince ride like an ass for too long.

How can they not penalize him? He looked to be riding way out of his comfort zone.

How can you penalize a rider for riding outside of his comfort zone? I don't think either Vince or Weston deserve a suspension. Some monetary fine and a warning to Weston for throwing a punch, sure. If I was the AMA I'd just tell Vince that if any rider so much as stalls his bike around you next race you'll be getting a black flag and bill in the mail too.

As for the exposure, it's a good thing.

On the contrary I think the only thing he's comfortable doing is riding dirty lol. He's had that coming for a long time, I'm just bummed to see Peick take the penalty for it

Great for the sport! It'll get some people interested. A little controversy is always a good way to draw interest. Its human nature.

Friese needs to be put on probation. I mean, he always rides like an idiot and he has no chance of being top 5. I don't like Bower's antics either but at least he goes for wins!

I think it will definitely boost the interest for the next round...too bad Peick won't be there to enjoy the fruits of his labor. He might need the time for his hand to heal up anyway. Might be worthwhile for him to come out with a sincere apology, promise never to do it again, and appeal to only miss A1, but be put on probation. It really is his first offense, and sitting out A1 was a substantial penalty. Maybe he could do some community service, like going to schools and talking to kids about bullying. lol. A few more nights like A1, and SX could be on its way to NASCAR like popularity. I'm sure the TV and entertainment execs couldn't be more pleased about the level of excitement that was maintained throughout the entire broadcast. It was one for the ages.

X2, bad exposure is not good. The old saying any is better than none is lame. I guess charles manson was cool because he got alot of exposure.

I have had at 14 different people text me today who have never cared about supercross tell me they will be watching next week. So I'm guessing this is good exposure.

Beat me to it... How is this any different than any hockey brawl that has ever been featured on sportcenter? Hell, those guys even draw blood....

I think Weston went a little overboard.....but on the flip side , I think it did the sport good. I will also say , that there are plenty of riders , mechanics , people in the industry that not only saw it coming....but applauded Weston in doing it. Weston also has quite a few friends on the circuit , and Vince probably just put a bullseye on his back.

50,000 likes don't lie.

Weird comparison to a convict. That dude isn't a sport.
