Yeah would be great!

I actually think the racing could improve if the 250s were the premier class and the 125s the lites class. Tho an addition of a 125 class could be good either way...

56 entries in the EMX125 class last weekend. (79 in Italy the week before). And that's for a class that most manufacturers don't even make machinery for.

And in the premier world championship 450 GP class? 24.

Been watching it the last couple of weeks on the MXGP-tv site and it's highly entertaining. Makes you want to grab a 2 stroke and go out and ride. I'm still learning the riders but gradually picking up on who's who.

I personally love that idea... although it's likely because of my affinity for two strokes

Ya...

Think about it, in 2005 the premier bike was the 250 two stroke, probably pumping 50 ponies and weighing 216 or 220?

I'd hazard a guess saying the 250 effs are about doing those numbers and almost always have the best racing because the bikes can be wrung out.

The 125s as the regional/entry class would significantly drop costs for those teams looking to get in and compete and the big bucks can still be spent on the highly mod 250 class

Wonder how long (if ever) the japs will take to reverse their mistake of not producing 2 strokes.

and 12 entries for two-stroke EMX300 class...

You have to remember that MXGP is closed series, so you can only get in the race if you have place in MXGP team or get one of the few wild cards you can attend.

12 entries. How many showed up for the first ever EMX125 class? The 125 class is great and seems to keep growing. No doubt, we do need that 125 class at the national level here, been saying it for years. Damn shame it doesn't happen....
